Specific

We identified

i) Who is involved - the people involved in the intervention were the students in the canteen and the canteen cashier

ii) What we wanted to accomplish- change in behavior of the students towards standing in queue in the canteen

iii) Where - the location which was the college canteen, iv) When - the time frame was during rush hours when the students have breaksv) Which – the constraints of space, time, convenience and staffingvi) Why – the reason for performing the intervention was to try to facilitate smooth

functioning of the process of getting food coupons from the canteen for the students as well as the canteen cashier

MeasurableEstablished concrete criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal set. We observed current behaviour towards forming queue in the canteen through surveys and statistics of students who form or not form the queue and based on these observation concluded that the optimum time for carrying out the intervention would be when there is maximum rush. The frequency of the intervention was………The change in behaviour after the intervention was observed through surveys and statistics of students standing in queue post intervention

Attainable Realistic

We believed our goal was achievable and we were willing to work towards it. We decided to make use of visual aids like posters to drive home our point of the importance of standing in a queue

TimelyOur goal was grounded within a time frame of one week which gave us enough time to plan the structure of the activity, taking all the constraints into consideration and deciding on the involvement of all the entities like the students, canteen staff and the cashier
