If you fail to plan, you plan to fail Planning is putting your dreams on

paper Planning is giving words to your vision,

giving flesh to your dreams A vision which is not transformed into a

plan dies A plan not implemented is a nightmare.

Important Things in Planning at the Local Church Level

Know the Mission Statement of the Youth Ministry.

Know the basic goals and objectives. Know the GC goal and objectives Know the Division goals and objectives Know the Union goals and objectives Know the Mission/Field/Conference

The Vision of the Higher Organization Matters GC vision in three main focuses 1. Quality of life - Spiritually - Physically - Materially and financially - Socially - Emotionally - Psychologically and intellectually 2. Unity - Spiritually - Socially - In policies and management procedures 3. Growth -Spiritually - Numerically - Intellectually The GC Youth Ministries adopted the GC Vision

The Division Five Main Focuses The same have been adopted by all lower

organizations. Spiritual Unity Evangelism Self-support Nurture Leadership

The Division Youth Ministries Focuses Witness (Win more) -Unity (Press together)-

Stewardship (Self-support).

Division Vision and Youth Ministry Vision 1. Win more

Evangelism preceded by spiritual and material preparation in order to insure nurture and quality of life and quality leaders.

2. Press together- Spiritual unity

3. Self-support- Stewardship

Planning In A Practical Way

Three Focuses are three goals Find objectives which are a breakdown

of the goals Every objective must have strategies to

reach them Then come programs or activities that go

along with the strategies Then comes the time frame and the

calendar of events.
