PLANET TRISTAN

Through the mists of time and the enigmatic ways of the warp comes a night of frighteningly good fun.

Planet Tristan has long held a secret. Generations pass and something stirs below the surface of the agricultures. When the Imperium came here the planet had long been

populated. Heedless of the superstitions and warnings of the locals; the planets ancient ruins were ploughed and tilled to feed the billions across the stars fighting in the name of

the Emperor.

Tremors, and sometimes worse things, disturb the sleep of the inhabitants now. Old stories, long abandoned, but never full forgotten store in anxious minds.

Sink holes have been forming across the planets surface with increasing regularity and size, revealing a long forgotten past that even the planets most ancient historical

repositories fail to describe in any detail.

Too late realisation grips the inhabitants, the bastion Imperial forces are overwhelmed with urgent cries from settlements the world over. The cogitator servitor struggling to keep

up incessant chatter.

Reports and images of skull faced foes and monsters walk the earth.

Behold, the night of the dead walkers.

-----

A small force of Dark Angels remain on the planet, commanding the Imperial Forces.

Captain Democrius stares at all that is befalling his command centre and shouts for silence before drawing his sword and looking to his brothers.

He points to the drop ship bay.

“Repent! For tomorrow you die!” he commands his brothers in arms. They march, the meaning understood.

Necrons rise from the earth and Monsters fall from the sky.

Something below attracts the forces of chaos and the dead begin to rise as Nurgles designs are expressed in gruesome clarity.

Every unit the allied/imperial forces get off the board gives them 1VP. Every unit killed gives the attackers 1VP

THE 'WACKO JACKO' CHART At the beginning of each player turn you must roll 2D6 on the ‘Wacko Jacko’ table. Now this is going to cause a whole manner of chaos, but because it’s Halloween it should be a right laugh! Don’t go to crazy as we don’t want anyone having a heart attack in fright...

THE WACKO JACKO CHART

Wracked With TerrorYour entire force is spooked by a deathly premonition of the great necromancers return and without realising begin to shiver with fear, as no mere mortal can resist the evil of the thriller. Each unit must make a morale check or has their WS and BS reduced to by D3 for the turn. Terror and Fear causing units have no effect against your army in this turn, as nothing is scarier than a great unclean grinning at your through bubbling eyes.

Look Out... ZOMBIES!The dead are rising... Your units are beleaguered with a sea of the freshly dead and must strike them low before moving forwards. Roll a D6 for each of your units at the beginning of your turn, on a roll of 4+ the unit has been swamped by a mob of Zombies. Roll a D6 for each unit that was effected, each unit will take that may Strength 3 hits distributed as per shooting as the Zombies attempt to pull the living down into their shallow graves. Once this has been completed the unit may not charge or move for that turn but may shoot and cast magic as normal.

Loss of ReasoningYour force begins to start considering the worst and forget where they are and what they’re fighting for.For the entirety of your turn use the lowest leadership in a unit when making morale checks.

Suspense Creates HorrorThere’s a lul in the barrage of terror, but suspense creates fear...Nothing happens this turn.

Look Out... ZOMBIES! Over There! The dead are rising... But not here, go and beleaguer somebody else...Go over to another table and force one of the players to roll for the Look Out... ZOMBIES result as if they had just started their turn. They must stop what they are doing and roll for each unit as previously described - however any unit that is effected may not complete the phase that they were in. For example if it was that players Magic phase and a unit containing a payer was attacked by Zombies then they may not cast that turn...

Fantasy Is For FairiesForget Warhammer for a moment, lets ensure that the Fantasy players are having a really, really, really good time. You must go and scare a Fantasy player, if you visibly make them jump or scream out loud in terror then your have accomplished your mission! If your are successful then on a 3+ your units gains the Fearless, Monster Hunter, and Preferred Enemy, Split Fire special rule until the beginning of your next turn.

Peter’s Plump Perilous PumpkinsGo and grab Pete as he’ll get to throw a Pumpkin at something in true Halloween fashion. Okay so Peter doesn’t literally get to throw a Pumpkin at something however by rolling this result you can get Peter to throw a Pumpkin at your opponent or if your like a player on one of the other tables. To do this, centre the large blast template on any unit on any table, and scatter as normal (no BS reductions). The Pumpkin is Strength 10 AP 4 under the hole, whilst the rest of the template is Strength 3. Peter’s decision is final, he may decide to do what he wants with his plump perilous pumpkins...

Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand. Creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorize your neighbourhood and whosoever shall be found without the soul for getting down. Must stand and face the hounds of hell and rot inside a corpse’s shell. The foulest stench is in the air; the funk of forty thousand years and grisly ghouls from every tomb are closing in to seal your doom. And though you fight to stay alive your body starts to - shiver... For no mere mortal can resist, the evil of the - thriller!
