The “Dürrenholzstube” wooden building was transported from Weißenbach and carefully reconstructed by a local History Group. All the old tools and appliances once used by the woodcutters were placed in-situ. Each woodcutter would cook his own bread and dripping in front of the open fire. Old pictures and display items provide us with an insight into the hard and often dangerous work carried out by the woodcutters.
