Bearing in mind the gradual reactivation of the economic
sector, the Poblado Plaza Hotel commits to comply with
the actions established in the following biosafety protocol.
Likewise, it establishes our commitment to support the
operation safely and responsibly, which allows the
economic stabilization of the Company, focused on the
containment or non-spread of COVID-19 for the care of our
human talent.
We need to maintain and/or implement measures that
allow us a stable, continuous and sustainable operation,
establishing key measures from internal, external and
supply chain fronts.

GENERAL MEASURES
We have implemented a series of protocols to
prevent the transmission of COVID-19, which
highlights the identification of needs,
implementation of methods and systems, adapting
infrastructure and the training of personnel. Also,
we develop protocols for risk management and the
management of possible emergencies. These
protocols are available to all guests and visitors.

ENTERING THE HOTEL
ANYONE WHO ENTERS THE HOTEL MUST COMPLY WITH FOLLOWING PROCESSES:

and soap and use disinfectant.

wheels, these must rolled on the mat.

packages, etc., must be disinfected
when entering the hotel.

to 38ºC you will not be able to enter the
Hotel and must inform the territorial
entities, health secretary, and health
service provider.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT• Guests who enter the Hotel must sign a document certifying that they
are in good health and agree to notify the Hotel if they have any health
issues within fifteen (15) days after the date of their check-out related
to COVID-19.
• The Hotel has a biosecurity kit (gloves, face mask, hand sanitizer gel)
to inform guests at the time of registration if required and its cost.
• For the readiness of a room, the check-in time is modified for 4:00pm
and check-out for 12:00m.
• Room cleaning frequency is at the guests’ request, which must be
informed at the time of registration.
• We streamline the Check-in y Check-out processed through
electronic Pre Check-in, to ensure that the guest takes the least
possible delay in entering their room. Registration cards and rooms
keys will be previously disinfected.
• We have online payment platforms so that the guest can pay the hotel
bill by transfer or QR code, which will be sent by email.

ROOMS
• In the room, all non-essential elements
(magazines, brochures, pens, notebooks and laundry bags) and the
amenities are reduced to the essentials.
• At the guest’s request, there will be items such as ironing tables,
irons, and hair dryers.
• Minibar service will be suspended, in case a guest requires a
product, he must request it from the Front Desk or
Room Service complying with all protocols.
• When the guest checks out, alcohol or disinfectant should be
sprayed on all surfaces in the room.
• The disinfection of common contact elements will be reinforced
such as remote control for the television, telephone, handles, doors,
curtains, switches, l ights, and water taps.
• Cleaning and disinfection of toiletries will be carried out,
once the maintenance between rooms is complete.

LA TERRAZA RESTAURANT• La Terraza restaurant has enough space to respect the required distance of 2 meters between tables. Two chairs will be placed at each table, encouraging social distancing.
• The different hotel menus will be redesigned to have a limited offer and will be created for better cleaning and disinfection.
• The guest can request breakfast in the room, or if they prefer, they can have it at the restaurant upon request.
• Common use items and equipment (cruets, salt shakers, olive oil dispensers, beverage machines, sugar packet holders, among others) and any decorative items will be eliminated from the service.
• Until further notice, the restaurant will restrict salad bars, buffets, courtesy cookies, and free snacks to accompany alcoholic drinks, unless it is in individual portions.
• The linens will be changed each time the tables are used.
• Each time food service is provided, disinfected cutlery and paper napkins will be located.
• Sanitizer gel will be available at strategic points for hand disinfection.
• We have online platforms so that the guest or visitor can pay by transfer or QR code.

EVENTSMEETING ROOMS FOR
• The meeting room capacity is reduced, respecting social distancing.
• The linens must be changed for each event.
• Water is no longer served on tables (no glasses, no jugs). A water dispenser with disposable cups will be available.
• The meeting room where the event will take place must be ventilated at least two hours beforehand.
• The coffee and tea station will be served in covered and disinfected thermal beverage dispenser inside the meeting rooms where service is provided.
• All participants are required to wear a mask.
• Widespread spraying will be done before each event and at each meal break (breakfast, coffee break, lunch and dinner).
• All sound equipment, microphones, audiovisual aides, flip charts, tables, chairs, or any implement required for the development of the event must be disinfected.
• Air conditioning will be optional for customers.
• The distribution of material in meetings (paper, pen, among others) is rearranged.
• Eventos are designed and planned in a way that capacity is controlled, allowing the minimum safety distance to be respected.

COMMON AREAS
• All frequent contact points in public areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, counters, tables, rail ings, and others, are cleaned daily and continuously disinfected throughout the day.
• The capacity of the elevator is l imited to a single person, giving priority to people with reduced mobility, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with child in their arms. Promoting stair use is applied.
• In public restrooms, there are soap dispensers, disposable towels, and instructions for correct washing and disinfection of hands.
• The entrance to the gardens that are not part of the usual traffic within the accommodation will be restricted, to avoid the risk of infection.
• To use the Gym, guests must wash their hands when changing machines and before starting a routine.
• The wet areas will remain closed until National orders it .
• Attend unaccompanied.
• Prior scheduling of the Gym is required at the Front Desk. The estimated time is 45 minutes per client, and maximum capacity will be two people.
• Guest must bring a self-care kit containing a mask, towel, sanitizer gel, and fluid for hydration.

OUR EMPLOYEES
• Routine temperature control is carried out upon entering and leaving the work shift . This information is registered in writing in the format implemented for that purpose.
• All employees must comply with responsible self-care and self-assessment of risks, signs, and symptoms Covid-19.
• All personnel has the appropriate personal protective equipment. In the same way, they are duly trained in the use, handling, and replacement of these implements, to guarantee optima hygiene.
• During the health emergency, communication campaigns will be carried out with workers on primary aspects related to how Covid-19 is transmitted and the ways to prevent it .

SUPPLIERS• Each supplier will send the biosecurity protocol of their company, following Resolution 666 of 2020, the approval and validation by the ARL and the Medellin’s Mayor Office or the territorial entity stationed.
• Protocol activities are articulated with the prevention and promotion plans for risk containment defined in the national public health policies.
• It should be noted that the activities referred to in the protocol of our suppliers must be strictly complied with and in addition to being aligned with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, maintaining a permanent identification, evaluation and control of occupational risks.
• All suppliers must comply with responsible self-care and self-assessment of risks, signs, and symptoms related to COVID-19 before entering the Hotel facil it ies and follow the biosecurity protocols.
• Staff should always use their protective equipment.
• Maintain a social distancing of 2 meters with the staff.
• Disinfect all company tools before entering the hotel.
• The transportation means used must have a cleaning and disinfection report (carried out before each load), as well as baskets, boxes, mechanical loading aid, and any implement that has contact with the product or supply to be delivered.
