We offer home-cooked meals, year-round meeting space and lodging for up to 96 guests. Hickory Lodge is both heated and air-conditioned. Our Cottages are heated and most have wood-burning fireplaces. Our guests enjoy hiking our trails, fishing, playing basketball, volleyball, 9-Square and Gaga, then ending their day with a campfire. Ask about additional options such as horseback riding, pontoon boat tours, team building and teams course, canoeing and hay rides. Ride the Trails Round up a group of 6 to12 riders and hit the trails. Our gentle horses and experienced team of volunteer wranglers help build wonderful memories! It’s a fun centerpiece for any celebration, reunion or a ladies’ day out! Mother & Daughter Retreat! October 18-20

Friday check-in 6:30 - 7:15pm Program begins at 7:30pm Sunday departure by noon

Start a new family tradition!Relax and re-energize your relationship with your daughter, mother, granddaughter, niece, aunt or other special woman or girl in your life! Laugh, play, sing and maybe even dance during this fun-filled, faith-based weekend. Please note: Activities are geared for girls age 5 and older; families participate together.

ACTIVITY OPTIONS — Weather permitting: Archery, Canoeing, Crafts, a Hayride and Campfire, Hiking, Pontoon Boat Rides, even opt for Horseback Riding. Engaging Bible Exploration

and Worship round out the weekend.

Youth and adult fellowship groups, families, individuals – help maintain and beautify YOUR camp and retreat center.

Projects vary depending on the weather, current priorities and the skills of those involved. Our growing list includes painting, weeding, raking, cleaning, power washing, tree & brush removal and fence work.

Lunch and general supplies are provided, but CALL AHEAD to reserve a spot for you or your group – 618.787.2202. Also, let us know about any group members with special skills and / or professional tools / equipment to offer. They will be greatly appreciated!

If these dates aren’t convenient for your group, but you would like to lend a hand, please call the office and we’ll explore alternative dates. Work projects can also be scheduled as part of a retreat, or consider planning your own work camp or work weekend at DuBois Center.

PRICE INCLUDES: Two nights lodging in heated accommodations, four meals, program activities and supplies. Horseback riding is optional with an additional fee of $18 per person (ages 9+) for a 1-hour trail ride with barn orientation, or $9 for a 30-minute guided arena ride that is geared for younger riders (ages 5-10).

Cost: $118 – adults age 18 and over $103 – youth age 12-17 $94 – child age 4-11

A great opportunity for horse lovers!Beginners are introduced to basic skills, while riders with more experience work on refining theirs. A day of bonding with the ponies including grooming, tacking, riding and other horse-related activities. Lunch is provided.
