Department of Electrical Engineering at Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology
(DIET) is conducting Solar Skill Development Program named "Suryamitra". The program is
of 600 hrs. This program is sponsored by National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an
autonomous institution of Ministry of New and Renewable (MNRE) and guided by Gujarat
Energy Development Agency (GEDA) a state nodal agency Government of Gujarat. The

• He was selected in Training Course specially designed for BEE certified Energy Managers/Auditors in
Energy Conservation Techniques for India under Cooperation of Japan International Cooperation Agency
(JICA), Government of Japan during June 25th, 2013 to August 2nd, 2013.
• This program was fully supported and sponsored by Government of Japan and organized by Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Total15 delegates have been selected from India and he was the
only academician.
