S-User ID Registration Procedure on SAP Service Marketplace 1) To visit SAP Service Marketplace, open a web browser and specify the URL "http://service.sap.com"
On the SAP Service Marketplace home page, in the upper right corner, click "Registration". 2) On the "SAP Service Marketplace" page, read the instructions how to request your user ID.
Specify the following information about you and your company:
a) Select radio button Partner number
b) Specify Partner number:
i) 00000xyzxyzxyz if you are member of IBM STG or SWG S&D
ii) 0000yzxyzxyzx if you are member of IBM GBS iii) 0000zxyzxyzxy if you are member of IBM SWG Labs
c) Specify your first name
d) Specify your last name
e) Specify your e-mail in the IBM domain, i.e., ibm.com
Click the Submit button. 3) On the next page, check that your user request was saved properly. Save the regisration password in a separate document. The password typically has 8 alphanumeric characters. Check that the e-mail address is correct your notification will be sent to. 4) It may take a couple of hours up to one day until you receive a mail from SAP. Check if you have received a mail from the sender "SAP Notification Service" with the subject "SAP Service Marketplace: URL to User Registration". Open this mail and select the link "URL to User registration". 5) In the Web browser, a "SAP Service Marketplace" page opens. To receive your user ID and password, enter your registration password, which you have saved earlier. Check that your personal information is correct, i.e., First Name, Last Name, E-mail, and customer number, which is identical to the partner number. Click the Submit button. 6) The next page displays that the user data registration was successful. The page shows your user ID (SNNNNNNNNNN) and your initial password (XXXXXXXX), which is different from the password you saved earlier. Click Print to save your personal account information. 7) Select the link "Go to SAP Service Marketplace start page". Once you log on, you will be asked to change your initial password.
