It has the power to adjust brightness, contrast, and tonal range by specifying the location of complete black, complete white, and midtones in an image histogram. In general, you want your image histogram to fill the entire tonal range. Curves Adjustments > Curves Controls the tone and contrast of the image (similar to levels). Unlike levels however, which only has black, white and midpoint control, a tonal curve is controlled using any number of anchor points and generating a curved output. Helpful tip “Increase Contrast” and other presets can be used to easily adjust the image. Or, use the droppers to define a white, midtone or black tone for the image.

Hue & Saturation Adjustments > Hue & Saturation Hue: shifts colors for image along the color spectrum. 0 is the starting point for that particular image. Saturation: Increase/decrease the strength of all color. All the way to the left is to desaturation (do this for noncolor images).
Levels Adjustments > Levels The channel drop down lets you view the histogram for red, blue & green. Shown at the left is the output for red the extreme left peak does not fit into the flow of the histogram and we eliminate it by moving the black output stopper to the right.

Localized Issues Denoise Filter Filter > Denoise Quick fix to eliminate the smallest imperfections.
Spot Heal Tool Bandaid from the tool panel
For dust specs, tiny scratches & small imperfections. Click a spot and Pixlr will change it to blend in with the surrounding Pixels.
Clone Stamp Tool Stamp from the tool panel | Keyboard shortcut S For larger imperfections such as tears or big stains. The clone tool allows you to copy one area of the image and paste it to another.
To use: Hold the CTRL key and click where you want to copy from. Then click where you want to paste to.
Color Replace Tool Brush with block & arrow from the tool panel Brush that colorizes the image with the active color. Get the right color using the eyedropper tool (I).
