Pittsboro is currently one of 10 certified retire NC communities

◦ Refreshed Retire NC Pittsboro brochure & website◦ 4 key events; 3,327 attendees just thru 3/1/15◦ 4 additional events planned for 2015

Next Steps Steering Committee working with retire NC Program to

enhance lead qualification and tradeshow presence Pittsboro uniquely funded via Sponsors who donate

money, time, and effort Requests of Town & County:

1) (Town) Match sponsor funding up to $10,000/year to help defray marketing and travel expenses for tradeshow support (Pittsboro does not get positioned without sponsors present)

2) (Town) Consolidate Town of Pittsboro presence in Chatham County map by adding retire Pittsboro ad to 2 existing ads resulting in a full page Pittsboro ad for less money ($1,100)

3) (County) Enlist support of County Commissioners to engage Chatham County Visitors Bureau

Benefit to Town is higher ROI to supporting sponsors, increased awareness and positive growth for Pittsboro
