Synopsis
The story of my film focuses on 3 main characters (Jason, Ben and Leanne) surviving an undead outbreak in and around London.
SynopsisThis trio try to make their way back to the lab where the virus was synthesized (and also where one of the character works), to get hold of a vaccine.Infected beings are a problem in this movie, but are not the main one. Bandits roam all across the wasteland of Greater London and are the main threat to the group.
SynopsisAfter Leanne is bitten by a zombie and killed by bandits right in front of the group, Ben loses all hope for finding the vaccine. Jason convinces him otherwise. (This is my Sample scene)On their way to the lab they encounter a lot of bandits and infected, and Ben ends up injured by a bullet as they enter the lab. The movie ends with a stand-off between Jason protecting Skinner (Leanne’s fellow scientist who we see at the beginning of the film) who has the vaccine from bandits who are aiming guns at the group. A fight breaks out between everyone, with Ben killing the bandit who killed Leanne. Skinner proceeds to pick up a bandit’s weapon, and kill Jason and Ben. As he steps over their lifeless bodies, he says “We need this.” and shoots the vaccine. This reveals him to be evil all along.
Running TimeThe running time for my movie is 100 Minutes. This is a good time for my movie, as it is not focused completely on horror but not on action either. An action movie’s plot usually spans about 2 hours, whereas horror movies usually span 90 minutes.This length will suit my movie as there are 3 strong, distinct acts that will be distributed evenly throughout the running time.
Original IdeasMy film is not generic or typical of many horror movies, action movies, or zombie movies.The film will follow the state of the country, and of the main protagonists. We will see the deterioration of society, the military, and the way that bandits take over from law and order.The film has 2 strong storylines running in tandem with each other which keeps the pace of the movie up.
Why is it a UK film?It is set in the UK, and as a lot of it is in woodland/rural outskirts, it will be filmed on location.All of my actors and actresses are British.My funding will be all UK based – from sources like;

Unique Selling PointThe stars of my film are;Andrew LincolnHayley AtwellJames McAvoyPatrick StewartThe fact that I managed to get all of these actors, and calculate that I could hire all of them within my budget creates a unique selling point. This is my very highly talented, famous cast.
Stars and their appeal• Andrew Lincoln would feel at home in this role, playing the
main protagonist in a post apocalyptic world. His popularity from The Walking Dead will be his main appeal.
• Hayley Atwell has a lot of popularity from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the huge fan base for those films can pull in new audiences.
• James McAvoy is a well known actor, and is known for a variety of roles. His main audience that will be pulled into watching my film will be fans of him as an actor, and of the X-Men franchise.
• Patrick Stewart only has a few minutes in the film, but is a significant credited actor. People will be intrigued by him playing a villain, and will be taken in my curiosity.

Target AudienceThe Target Audience for my film is 15-25.The Age restriction for my film is 15.Directed at a socio-economic grouping of E. This socio-economic grouping contains people with a disposable income and a lot of free time to watch movies. They will also enjoy all of the different elements of the film - the action will appeal to a younger audience because younger people are interested in guns, action and explosions. Young people also find horror movies exciting, especially watching as a group.
