By Mrs. Lewis’ Third Grade Class
• Our class decided to do a PowerPoint presentation on pirates.• In our Social Studies Weekly, we
studied about pirates and wanted to learn more about them.
• The most famous pirate of them all was Blackbeard.
• Blackbeard’s blockade of Charleston is remembered as Blackbeard’s craziest adventure.
• He captured eight ships in the harbor and kept all the people aboard as hostages.

• Anne Bonny was from Charles Town.• She grew up with her wealthy
father on a big plantation.• Anne did not like living on the
plantation because she was too adventurous for this boring life.
Bonnie
• Blackbeard made himself look scary by lighting rope with fire and putting them under his hat.
