1.0 DESIGN CRITERIA

1.1. Design Codes and Standards

• AISC – ASD 13th Edition

• AWS (American welding society)

1.2. Loading

Dead Load = Self Wt. of structure

Live Load = 2 KN (Inclusive of 20% Impact load)

Wind Load = Not considered

Seismic Load = Not considered

1.3. Material

• All Structural Steel sections shall conform to ASTM A36

• All Structural Bolts shall conform to ASTM A325 or equivalent.

• All welding shall conform to E70XX

2.0 ANALYSIS & DESIGN METHODOLOGY

A 3D analytical model has been developed on CSI SAP2000 software to

conduct analysis and design of pipe support. Output results are presented in

preceding sections of this report.
