So you have written a killer blog, but now you are probably wondering "How do I ping my blog"? You have written a good concise blog using all the relevant keywords in all the right places, and now you need somebody to read it and click on your links. Well none of that is going to happen if google doesn't find your blog or site and start ranking it on SERPS. Once your blog is written, or you have made changes to your website, it needs to be pinged. If you decide to wait for the search engines to find and index your site, it could take quite some time, so get pinging. A ping will send a notification to google bing etc that you have made an update, and ensure that you don't miss out on any of that much needed traffic. So Where Do I Ping My Blog? There are several websites available that you can use, but the one I have been having the most success with recently is pingoat.net. It is easy to use, just enter your blog or website name, your URL, click check all, then click go. Easy. Your blog will then be pinged to over 60 servers. How easy is that. Its a service I use every time I write a blog for my Empower Network Blog and it works well every time. You can see how the page looks below. And that's all there is to it, but it is vitally important that you remember to take this step and get your new blog or updated site indexed quickly. It is also important that you only do this once, as it is reported that too many pings could result in google penailzing your site, which would bring you the opposite result.
