sharing requirements for large files that are

simply cumbersome or impossible with

email. Email is the wrong application for

sharing large files. Sender or receiver email

servers often block large file attachments. In

try to send and resend large files via email

or to track down whether the receiving party

such as ftp. PineApp enables any type of file,

of any size, to be simply shared by users.

The user can share from inside their file

system or from the web portal, by selecting

the file in question. The recipient of the

share gets an email with a simple link to

retrieve the file from the web portal, no

matter whether the file is 1 MB or 1 GB.

Enable Secure Sharing

If a file being shared requires heightened

levels security, PineApp’s Big Email Data

Solution facilitates a seamless user

experience. Users can send files

confidentially to third party recipients. This

feature delivers an email to the file recipient,

forcing them to set up a guest username

and password to retrieve the files from the

web portal. The sender of the file can specify

download limits, expiration dates, and

receive email notifications of downloads.

Guest users don’t require an additional

license or subscription.

Facilitate Collaboration

A feature coming soon, a licensed user can

set up an online, secure collaboration space

by specifying a particular folder. Then the

licensed user and their guest user(s) can

securely collaborate on the folder , by

adding, uploading, deleting, and moving

files around in the collaboration folder.
