Go to www.pima.gov/nrpr and hit the button. Simply create an account and you will be all set up to register for classes when registration opens. Unable to register online? Schedule an appointment by calling 520-724-5264 to come to Pima County Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation office at 3500 W. River Road, in Tucson. Please note that scheduling an appointment does not guarantee registration into a class. Current class availability will be determined at the time of appointment. We accept cash or credit card at the River Road office. MAIL IN REGISTRATIONS AND CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Classes are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Register early to ensure a space in the class you want. If the class you want is full, add yourself to the wait list to ensure a space in the class if an opening becomes available. Wait lists are prioritized on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration for unfilled spaces may be available the first week of class, but you are strongly urged to register early.

MATERIAL FEESDo not include material fees with class registration fees. Material fees are paid directly to the class instructor on the first day of class.

CLASS CONFIRMATIONWhen registering on-line you have the option to print your receipt. If you choose to register in person, a receipt will be printed and given to upon payment of your class(es).

CLASS CANCELATIONA minimum number of people must register for a class in order for it to be held. It is at the instructors’ discretion to set the minimum number of students.

REFUND/TRANSFER FEESRefund fee: $10Transfer fee: $5These fees will be waived if a class is canceled due to a facility issue, instructor issue, or if the required minimum number of enrollment is not met.

Creating with ClayInstructor: Marilyn CleavingerThis class will take you through the process of mak-ing your own pottery. Class demonstrations will reflect student’s areas of interest and will include hand built and wheel thrown projects chosen to in-crease your knowledge and success with clay.
