TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10 - Depart from our home cities for our evening connecting fI ight overnight to Tel Aviv. Dinnerand breakfast served aboard. D (dinner) & B (breakfast)

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11 - Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport late afternoon. We clear customs and transfer by motorcoach to check in at Notre Dame Center in Jerusalem. After check in we have dinner together. An arrival MASS in theNOTRE DAME CHAPEL is available before dinner. D JERUSALEM

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12 - Traveling a short distance south of Jerusalem, we arrive in Bethlehem to celebrate HOLYMASS in a Grotto in Shepherds Fields, the traditional place where the Angels announced theBirth of Jesus. We then visit the Church of the Nativity to venerate the Birthplace ofthe InfantJesus at the holy Grotto of the Nativity. Entering the adjacent Church of St. Catherine, sceneof Bethlehem's Midnight Mass, we will visit the Grotto of St. Jerome. This afternoon we driveto a town just outside Jerusalem called Ein Karem. The Blessed Mother went in haste here tovisit her cousin Elizabeth. Our devotions will be within the Church of the Visitation and theChurch of St. John the Baptist, and we will praise God with the Magnificat. We return to ourhotel and have dinner together. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 - Early this morning we celebrate MASS AT THE TOMB OFJESUS in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After breakfast we go within the Old City to theLatin Rite Patriarchate, the Cathedral and Residence of the Catholic Bishop of Jerusalem, andwe are received in audience. Those pilgrims in our group who are members of the Order of the

Holy Sepulchre will receive their Pilgrim Shells. Late this morning we return toBethlehem for a special experience, paying a visit to Bethlehem University, which 'is staffed by Christian Brothers and where we will meet students and faculty. Thisis the only Christian University in Palestine. It provides higher education to bothChristians and Moslems. Our lunch will be provided by their hotel managementdepartment. Time permitting, we will stop at a Bethlehem store that offers olivewood religious carvings and many other items. After dinner we go to the base ofMount Olives to the Church of the Rock of Agony at Gethsemane for a Holy Hour IJ~~=~~:=from 8:30 to 9:30 PM with the opportunity for Confession. ~

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 - This morning we are driven to the edge of the Old City at Zion Gate. There we visit thetraditional site of the Upper Room, and with devotion we recall the Last Supper, the Easter Sunday appearance of Our Lordand Pentecost Sunday. Just next to it we enter a Franciscan monastery enclosure to celebrate MASS IN THE FRANCISCANS'CENACLE CHAPEL. Nearby we enter Dormition Abbey Church that honors the passage of Our Lady from this life toHeaven. This afternoon we enter the Old City of Jerusalem at St. Stephen's Gate. Our first stop is the church of St. Anneand the Pools of Bethesda. Next we visit the Chapel of Flagellation in preparation for making the Way of the Cross.Carrying a wooden cross and praying the Way of the Cross along the streets and among the markets and shops as Jesus didon His journey to Calvary, we follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Within the church, we visitGolgotha and complete our devotions at the Sacred Tomb of Jesus. B & D JERUSALEM

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15 - This morning we drive to the Summit of Mt. Olives to visit the Chapel of the Ascensionand the Church of Pater Noster. Walking the Palm Sunday Road, we visit and celebrate MASS IN DOMINUS FLEVIT

CHURCH. We have a wonderful panoramic view of the City of Jerusalem. At thebottom ofMt. Olives we enter the Garden ofGethsemane. This afternoon we go to theWestern Wall or Wailing Wall, where devout Jews offer up prayers at these remainingholy stones of the glorious Second Temple. We are aware that now the only structuresstanding on the Temple Mount are the Moslem Shrines of the Dome of the Rock andMosque el Aqsa. South of this site we will be given a special tour at the City of David,the heart of ancient Jerusalem, City of Kings and Prophets, where books of the Biblewere written. Originally the City was built around its water source called Gihon Spring,down the southeastern hill from the Temple Mount. Recent excavations have broughtto light many ancient wonders. This evening we go out for a special Middle Easterndinner. B & D JERUSALEM

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16 - We check out of our hotel and at go to celebrate MASS IN THE CHURCH OF ST. PETERIN GALLI CANTU, built over the spot where Our Lord was held in the dungeon of Caiphas' house. Our journey thentakes us down along the Dead Sea, lowest spot on the earth. We travel south to reach Masada, a popular Israel touristattraction accessed by cable car on which we ascend to its ancient settlement atop a rock plateau. Here the Jewish rebelsresisted the onslaught of the Roman occupying troops, but finally ended the siege by their own suicide. After our visitwe can find a bite to eat in the cafeteria here. Returning to the north we stop and are given a tour at Qumran, site of theancient Essene Community and now important because of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. The Jordan River flows intothe Dead Sea and at it banks a little to the north of the Dead Sea we stop at a placethat commemorates the scene of St. John's Baptism of the Lord. Here we renewour own Baptismal Promises. We continue driving north through the fertile JordanRiver Valley, reaching the Sea of Galilee, where we check in at our hotel in Tiberiaslocated directly on the Sea. B&D TmERIAS

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17 - Just a short drive north we go up a hill overlookingthe Sea of Galilee called Mount Beatitude, where Jesus preached His Sermon onthe Mount. Nearby at the shore of the lake we visit the site of the Multiplication

of Loaves and Fishes. Next along theshore of the Sea of Galilee, we stop at theChurch of the Primacy of Peter, the place where Our Lord bestowed uponPeter the role of leadership of the Church. We then embark on a boat rideon the Seat of Galilee, remembering the scripture passages of Jesus and Hisapostles on this lake. Where we disembark we visit a museum that houses afishing boat that was discovered buried at the bottom of the lake. It is 2000years old and very typical of the boats used by the Apostles who had beenfishermen. For lunch today we will be provided with a local favorite called St.Peter Fish. This afternoon we go to Capernaum, known as the Second Cityof Jesus, where we will see the ruins of the second century Synagogue (John:6), and the ancient structure of the House of Peter. Here we celebrate HOLY

WED ESDAY, NOVEMBER 18 - This morning we drive north to CaesareaPhilippi, where in response to the profession of faith by Peter, Jesus promised himleadership in His Church - that He would give to him the "Keys to the Kingdom."This afternoon we ascend the heights of Mt. Tabor, where Jesus took Peter, Jamesand John and was gloriously Transfigured in their sight. We will celebrate HOLYMASS IN THE BASILICA OF THE TRANSFIGURATION. We then will stop tovisit Cana, where we recall the scene of Our Lord's first miracle, remembering HisBlessed Mother's words, "Do whatever He tells you." In this setting we plan to have aRenewal of Marriage Vows. B & D TIBERIAS

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19 -After hotel check-out we depart from Tiberias and head to Nazareth, where Jesus spentmost of His Life. We go to its beautiful Basilica ofthe Annunciation, especially to venerate the Grotto of the Annunciation,the very place where the Word Was Made Flesh. At the main altar in the Upper Basilica we celebrate MASS fN THEBASILICA OF THE ANNUNCIATION. Nearby we visit St. Joseph's Church and in its lower level venerate St. Joseph'sWorkshop. Lunch will be provided in Nazareth. Driving to the Mediterraneancoast, we reach the Carmel Mountain Range, arriving at Muhraqa, where Elijahchallenged and defeated the 450 prophets of Baal. Further along we pass StellaMaris, the largest monastery of the Carmelite Order and its headquarters. We willdrive to sea level to Haifa, the major seaport of Israel. Then we turn south andour next stop is Caesarea, capitol of the Roman Province of Judea. We recallthat St. Paul was imprisoned in Caesarea before being sent to Rome. Also hereSt. Peter baptized the first Gentile converts. We see the Crusaders' Moat andfortifications built by St. Louis the King, as well as the well-preserved RomanAmphitheater. Early this evening we reach the seaside city of Tel Aviv. Herewe check in to our hotel and have dinner together. B, L & D TELAVIV

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 - This morning after breakfast we drive the short distance to Ben Gurion Airport, where wecheck in for our fl ight back to the U.S. We will go through Customs in Newark and connect to our fl ight to our home city,arriving home this same day.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT: Travel Tyme requires adeposit of $400 per person that is to be sent with the application atthe time of booking. This deposit forms a part of your final payment,which must be received by us no later than 65 days prior to departure.Seats are limited on this Pilgrimage, so we suggest an early booking.

CANCELLATIONS: Please make all cancellations in writing. Thefollowing cancellation charges apply: If cancelled 120 days or more priorto departure, a $75 administration fee is charged. If cancelled 119-61days prior, $300 penalty will be charged. If cancelled 60-15 days prior,a $500 penalty will be charged. If cancelled 14 days or less, the totalamount of the trip will be forfeited. In addition, once the airline ticketsare issued, about 40 days prior to departure, the cost is non-refundable(approximately $1408).

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend the purchaseof travel insurance to recuperate the penalties charged for cancellationfor health reasons. You would be fully covered, except if pre-existingconditions are evident. Even so, the insurer waives the exclusion forpre-existing conditions, if insurance is purchased within 15 days ofdeposit received by Travel Tyme.

PASSPORT AND VISA: For travel to Israel, a valid passport isrequired for all U.S. citizens. For those holding passports of othercountries, visas may be required Please check with Travel Tymefor further information.
