Pilgrimage season and Al-Adha Eid
We are going to tell you something about pilgrimage and Al Adha Eid. The Hajj, or pilgrimage to Makkah is a central duty of Islam whose origins date back to the time of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH). It brings together Muslims of all races and tongues for one of life's most moving spiritual experiences. For 14 centuries, countless millions of Muslims, men and women from all over the world, have made the pilgrimage to Makkah, the birthplace of Islam. In carrying out this obligation, they fulfill one of the five "pillars" of Islam, or central religious duties of the believer

Eid al-Adha
Eid al-Adha :is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah. It is one of two Eid festivals
that Muslims celebrate. Like Eid ul-Fitr, Eid al-Adha .
Eid al-Adha is four days long and starts on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hajja of the lunar Islamic calendar. This is the day after the pilgrims in Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. It happens to be approximately 70 days after
the end of the month of Ramadan.

Some traditions in Eid
Men, women, and children are expected to dress in their finest cloths to perform Eid prayer . Muslims who can afford to do so sacrifice their best domestic animals (usually sheep, but also camels, cows, and goats) as a symbol of Ibrahim's sacrifice.
Aludhiya (immolation)
A sheep is slaughtered as a sacrifice in order to approach God
and seek his love. the sheep is being divided into three parts : one part is given to the poor and one is given to the relatives and the third part is cooked and offered
to the family.
Another ceremony of Eid Al-Adha : Muslims go to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque
