They coll it the king of wines ond the wine of kings:DOCG Barolo, of course.The history of this wine has been written in the 79th century by prominentpersonalities, such as the Morcheso Juliette Falletti of Barolo, the Count ofCovour, and King Carlo Alberto of Savoy.The tradition is carried on todayby local producers who follow the strict rules of Borolo making. This winecan be produced only in a small territory on the hill of the Langhe region,and is made 100% with Nebbiolo gropes. By law, Barolo has to mature forthree years (two of which in wooden barrels) before it is sold on themarket, but many producers choose to keep it in their cellars even longer.No one in the world can be considered a wine connoisseur withoutbecoming ocquainted with this undisputed authority!-Meet your guide and driver to stort your first day in the marvelousLonghe region.     DAYT VERCELLICrossed by the Po, the longest river in ltaly, this is colled "the lond ofwoter", a vast plain producing the largest share of Europeon rice. Thehigh quolity of the many rice varieties mode in this oreo is well knowneverywhere.
