(2/21/2014) The VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center recently relocated into a newly expanded space and are looking for artists to donate ‘pieces of hope’ artwork to inspire visitors. The center will have selection committee to select art to be hung on the walls in the reception area, hallways and examination rooms throughout the center. Priority will be given to pieces that share the story of how a movement disorder or neurodegenerative disease has touched a person’s life; the mind, wellness and health. The pieces should depict a sense of hope, healing and wellbeing to people who come to the center. Submitted pieces need to be two dimensional and not weigh more than 15 pounds. Important dates include: March 15, 2014 Initial review of submissions by selection committee March 31, 2014 Selection decisions communicated to artists May 15, 201 Artwork delivery deadline Candidates need to complete an application form and submit a photograph of the piece to: Andrea M.     Pieces of Hope: A special call for artwork

    RICHMOND, Va. (2/21/2014) The VCU Parkinsons and Movement Disorders Center
