INSPIRATION

CONCEPT

The countless looks and styles that are created with simple make up techniques and luxurious products inspired my store

within Sephora. One of the best things about Sephora is their organization and shopping ease of endless product. With

these techniques and Sephora’s “Get The Look” campaign in mind, my store concept evolved. Each look starts somewhere,

a literal foundation in this case, and this shop divides all the elements of each look. Face, cheeks, eyes, and lips are broken

down into their own areas and individual fixtures. Piece-by-piece the customer can put together their very own look. Like

a mosaic, many different pieces come together to form one look or work of art. Geometric shapes can be broken apart and

put back together to form new shapes, and these fixtures within the store were designed to do the same.

In this shop, customers will be able to create their ultimate look, piece by piece. Sephora’s “see-try-buy” method is implemented

with tester product areas within fixtures. These fixtures are designed to be separated and mix and matched with others.

Some fixtures hold products for just one of the four features, such as eye shadows, and others are a combinations of all four

that can be pieced together to form a desired look. Photography and graphic instructions can be found throughout these

fixtures to help guide customers to specific areas and looks.
