Inside KABS Pharmacy is the Pick-Up and Drop-Off counter

Customers at KABS Pharmacy come to the counter to pick up their medication or drop off a prescription from their doctor.

Sometimes the pharmacy technician will ask “How Can I Help You?” This means I will need to tell them if I am

picking up my medication or dropping off a prescription.

Dropping Off A Prescription

At the Drop Off window, the pharmacy technician will ask me for the following information:

• Prescriptions provided by my doctor• Driver’s License or State ID• Address and Phone Number• Insurance Card

It is very important to tell the pharmacy technician if I am allergic to any medications.

The KABS Pharmacy Waiting AreaThe KABS Pharmacy waiting area

is a place I can sit while the pharmacist gets my medication

ready.

The pharmacist will complete my order in as soon as possible.

While I wait, I can read a magazine or health information booklet located near the pick-up

window.I can also watch the television,

or play with my tablet or gaming device.

Picking Up A Prescription

When my prescription is ready for pick-up…

Waiting In LobbyThe pharmacy technician will call my name. At that time, I will go to the pick up window on my left.

Walk-InI will go the pick-up window on my left and tell the pharmacy technician my first and last name and say that I am here to pick up my medications.

Paying for A Prescription

Sign for my prescriptionsThe pharmacy technician will ask me to sign for my medications on the medication log sheet.

Pay for my medicationsOnce I have signed, I will pay for my medications with cash or a debit/credit card.

This pharmacy does not accept personal checks.
