International Airport in Karachi it

North America.

Pakistan International

Airlines Corporation (PIAC)

is majority owned by

the Government of

Pakistan (87%) while the

remainder (13%) by private

shareholders.

HISTORY OF PIA:

On 11 March

1955, Pakistan

International

Airlines

Corporation

has established

PIA flew its first service with

the Super Constellation on 07

June 1954 on the route

linking Karachi and Dacca

(now Dhaka).

On 1 February

1955 the airline flew its first

international

service, between

Karachi and

London via Cairo.

PIA set out to break the record for the fastest flight between London and Karachi.
