2. Born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, England, Isaac Newton was an established physicist and mathematician, and is credited as one of the great minds of the 17th century Scientific Revolution. 3. LAWS OF MOTION There are three laws of motion: 1st Law of Motion 2nd Law of Motion 3rd Law Of Motion 4. 3RD LAW OF MOTION NEWTONS 5. 1. Newtons First Law of Motion gives us Qualitative idea of Force. 2. Newtons Second Law of Motion provides us an idea to measure the Force But. Newtons Third Law of Motion. 6. Newtons 3rd law of motion states that :- If a body A exerts force on the body B, the body B will also exert an equal and opposite force on A. 7. ACTION AND REACTION The Force exerted by A on B is called ACTION The force exerted by B on A is called REACTION 8. For every Action there is an equal and opposite Reaction While hitting a table with palm we apply a force. The table also exerts a force on the palm on hitting it. 9. SOME EXAMPLES FOR NEWTONS THIRD LAW 10. RECOIL OF A GUN Where the bullet is fired from the a gun, an equal and opposite force is applied on the gun, due to which the gun recoils in backward direction. 11. LAUNCHING ROCKET In Rocket, gases are produced in large amount. Due to the internal combustion they come out and move backwards with and equal and opposite force which in turn acts on the objects and moves it forwards. 12. THANK YOU .!! 33. PRATEEK 34. PURVA 35.
