Daniel J. Batista is an associate in the �rm’s Orlando O�ce.  His

practice focuses on the defense of premises liability, vehicle

negligence, and general civil litigation claims.  Prior to joining

Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Batista gained experience working at

local insurance defense law �rms in Downtown Orlando, where

he defended numerous types of claims.

Mr. Batista obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern

University, where he earned a double major in Political Science

and Legal Studies, and a minor in Chinese Language and

Culture.

Mr. Batista obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of

Florida Levin College of Law. During law school he was a

member of the Florida Moot Court Team, earning multiple best

brief awards with his teammates.  He also served as President

of the Latino Law Student Association.
