Rules of Composition

Keep it simple.
Don’t have a picture full of clutter, make sure it is clear what you are taking the picture of and focus on that object.
Rule of thirds.
Imagine your picture being in a grid splitting it into three columns, make sure The main object in your picture is not in the centre of the grid, it is slightly off, this adds a better effect to the picture and draws your eyes to it.
Balance
Use lighting (light and dark) in your image to balance it, creating a better effect on your picture and making it look more 3D and real.
Leading lines
use lines in your background that lead to the main object in your image so the viewers eyes are automatically drawn to it.
