Introduction

• Life during the South during the time “Mockingbird” took place was a very shameful time. In the poor perspective there were many crushed dreams and people who were so poor they had to live in their cars with a family to take care of

• I chose this topic to show how life was then, and make us reflect on how good we have it during our era

• By choosing this topic I hope to learn a more complex knowledge on the events that occurred in our country, and I want to be able to show the many sides this topic has for future students

Poor Perspective

• Loss of homes do not differ in social classes. Wealthy and poor are just words when it comes to emotions.

Conclusion

• Making this project gave me a more thorough understanding of this time period. While making this project I was able to see the generation dissolve through my hands. Some of the things I learned was that people don’t choose to be poor or not have a job, it’s more of an obstacle we put in our heads. During the Great Depression there were many starving children and many jobless men the only thing that helped these shattered dreams was time, time itself was shown in this era and time itself showed an expansion in mind and in knowledge on these people. Many say a picture is worth a thousand words, and this showed me that this saying is true. This obstacle we overcame before came back to haunt us the economy will destroy us again if we don’t look back at our past generations as a country.
