Plant Reactions to a Stimulus
Phototropism – plants reaction to light Positive = move towards the light Negative = move away from the light
Gravatropism – plants reaction to gravity Positive = grow with gravity (down) Negative = grow against gravity (up)
Thigmatropism – plants reaction to touch Positive = move towards touching an object Negative =

Create…Your group will create and present a poster that
represents the connection between photosynthesis and cellular respiration between a flowering plant and an animal and other information. Make sure that you include ALL of this information in your poster. Molecules – CO2, H2O, C6H12O6, O2, ATP, and the sun! Structures – Chloroplast, Mitochondria (in an animal),
lungs, blood stream, small intestine/villi, roots, leaves, stems, xylem, phloem, stoma/stomata, and guard cells.
Terms/explanation to include – gravatropism and phototropism.
Vascular Tissues – show what molecules are transported and in what direction.
Flower Anatomy – show ALL of the male and female reproductive organs.
