To wire brain for reading and spelling your aim, for this activity, is that they can see the illustration, say the word, say the speech sounds, and know their order. Use duck hands to show the speech sounds, and also use a whiteboard. The student draws a line for each speech sound as they say them, starting from the left. The words are for your use, however students will start to link them.
