Synopsis : Meng buys the most sought after ‘Brazil’ eraser and loses his remaining cash to two bullies. Hungry and desperate, he sells the prized eraser.

Director’s Statement : A childhood reminiscence of what little things mean to the innocent little ones told in a comedy of tragic ending. This short film is shoot on a single location – an abandoned school in 1 and a half days.

Title : A Heart’s Cry Year : 2007 Duration : 12:15 minutes Language : English with English Subtitles

Synopsis : A heartfelt drama depicting how a young girl tries desperately to come to grips with the death of her mother. A heart’s cry speaks of the heartbeat of a grief-stricken child and how she contends with the loss. The focus is on the child and the drama captures her array of emotions following the death of her mother. It also portrays her interaction with her relatives and friends and how they may be a support to her.

Director’s Statement : My first short film created based on a true account of a girl’s loss and grieve over her deceased mother.
