Philosophy

History1990ACE Power Electronics was established in 1990 and was initially involved in the production and sale of AC Voltage Stabilizers as well as similar systems in the Power electronics sector. That year, the company also began producing Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems (UPS).

Just 3 years later, it consolidated collaborations with large and well-known manufacturers and began trading in corresponding systems.

1994 A year later, in 1994, it signed an exclusive contract to collaborate and represent AROS, a firm specializing in Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems (UPS).

1996In 1996, the ACE production process was certified to EN ISO 9002 standard.

1998In 1998, the company continued to grow in terms of quality and size through the design and development of new products certified to EN ISO 9001 standard.

In 1998, the company also began to distribute new products in the Renewable Energy Systems sector.

20002000 was a very important year for ACE as it also entered new product markets such as Rectifiers and DC Power Stations for telecommunication use.

2008In 2008, the company adds in its range of products, Energy Saving Systems, responding in this way to the up to date demand of Energy Consuming limitation.

ISOInsisting on quality principles that have always been the backbone of its policy, in December 2003 ACE Power Electronics acquired the ISO 9001:2000 quality certification.

During the next years, it verifies the high standard of its services by receiving from TUV organization its re-certification.

StructureACE Power Electronics Ltd is based on a completely structured organization chart which clearly distinguished the division of responsibilities. The departments that compose ACE are:

Production DepartmentIts basic activities are defined by the annual meeting production planning, where the Technical Manager and the Production Director, with the collaboration of the Sales Manager organize the production plan.

Marketing DepartmentIts aim is to develop and implement the commercial policy and the company’s goals. Also is responsible for the promo-tion of the company and investigates the market trends and competition.

Accounting & Shipping DepartmentThe Shipping Department is responsible for the direct, on time and safe transportations of the goods to their final destination. The Accounting Department is in charge for the financial requirements of the customers and the purchasers.

Sales DepartmentThe experienced and specialized personnel of the Sales Department are capable to propose complete and reliable solutions, to satisfy the needs of their customers in Greece or abroad.

Service DepartmentThe Service Department deals with:• installation • function demonstration• user training• preventive maintenance• corrective maintenanceThey aim at the continuous operation of the installed units as well as the failure recovery in a short time.

Research & Development Department The Research & Development Department (R&D) designs new products using and synchronizing the know-how that it has acquired from the multiannual experience. At the same time ACE is expanding into new sectors, as the green energy and designs products adapted to the contemporaneous developments.

Energy

Continuity of electrical energyACE insures the continuity of electrical energy supply with a complete range of Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems (UPS).

We offer Line Interactive & On Line UPS systems, of 500VA – 6.400 KVA power, which cover every demand from domestic to industrial. In addition, ACE trades exclusively the products of one of the biggest European companies in the field, the Italian RIELLO AROS UPS.

Quality & saving of electrical energyACE provides Voltage Stabilizers, from 600 VA to 2800 KVA power, for the qualityimprovement of the supplied energy and Saving Energy Systems for reducing wasteful use.

Specifically, ACE offers its own product line in the field of AC Voltage Stabilizers.

Production of electrical energyNowadays, trying to reduce the use of fossil fuel, ACE has included in its general philosophy the production of “Green Energy”. Entering dynamically into the mentioned field, ACE offers products such as Photovoltaic Panels, Inverters and Charging regulators while at the same time provides complete solutions in Autonomous as well as On Grid Photovoltaic Systems.

Support

Technical Support Technical support is one of the major areas of activity of ACE. Beginning from design, installation and start-up, to preventive and corrective maintenance, the Technical Department monitors the entire lifecycle of the available products. This way we achieve the best possible operation throughout their lifetime and the most effective use by the applicant. The experienced engineers of ACE are able to cover any requirementthat comes up, in any stage of their action that includes:

• installation and operation demonstration of the offered equipment

• user training

• preventive maintenance

• telemonitoring

StudyAt the beginning of any inquiry, the role of Technical departmentis supporting. The Sales Engineers are in communication with the client, receiving the relevant information and detecting the needs which may occur. If necessary, the contribution from our Technical department is asked for in order to have a morecomplete evaluation of the electrical installation under study, by using the most up to date technological means. In continuance, the Sales Department, composes a complete proposal with the best financial and technical solutions.

Installation - Demonstration - TrainingBefore every installation first must be ensured the required standards. Technical Support gives all the necessary directions for the electrical and mechanical preparations, such as the electrical wiring, the ventilation of space etc. Following that is the connection, the start-up and the demonstration of the operation. At the same time, all the necessary controls and functional tests according to the manufacturer instructions are taking place.

Technical specifications, maintenance instructions and user manuals are also provided.

The final step is user training.

Maintenance Contracts ACE proposes Maintenance Contracts in its customers, aiming at the more effective support of their equipment, in and out of guarantee.
