    Well, the

    the

    t h r i l l

    of

    observing and a s s i s t i n g i n

    the work of

    a

    missionary. There w a s t h e

    t h r i l l of

    of

    a German people, t h e i r

    customs

    a n d

    t h e i r

    There w a s a l s o the kids. I

    d i d a o t of

    work with them

    and r e a l l y

    en

    joyed i t.

    I

    e e l that

    the most

    h r i l l i n g t h r i l l

    was

    that

    Ken

    and

    I

    were

    involved in

    tart

    i n g a ongregation

    for the

    American service

people i n the area. From

    eports I

    now

    e

    ceive this congregation s

    growing

    a n d

    souls

are being immersed int o Christ for remis

    t h e i r s i n s

    a nd for h i s ,

    we

    a n

    p r a i s e

    the

    Lord.

    I figure that, a s well a s more nterns, re

    needed; those considering

    becoming

    one

    should

    be

    willing

    a n d able t o cope i t h t h e

    differences

    i n customs and

    culture.

    This

    s

    important. A esire

    t o serve

    the

    Lord i s

    a l l

    t h a t i s

    r e a l l y necessary,

    beneficial.

    An

    internship

    as t h i s

    should be a s beneficial

    to

    others as t was

    to

    allowed me to become better

    acquainted

    with the work n d

    r e s p o n s i b i l i

    t i e s of a missionary on the f i e l d ,

    which i s

    useful

    n

    r e l a t i n g

    to

    others

    exactly w h a t he

    missi on s

    needs are.

    It

    was ratifying

    t o me

    to

    know hat

    I had

    accept ed th e r e s p o n s i b i

    of

    such

    a

    As ar as a isadvantage, l l I

    The oy truly w a s

    Weeks i n advance, we

    made

    We

    Ray

    Upon r r i v a l , we

    were met by Dale

    Marge was

    finishing up

    Yummy We

    elped

    what

    i t t l e

    we

    could

    by

    putting the

    food

    into

    our

    We e f t the

    I t was uch a oy,

    .B.S.

    After

    a

    good

    t h e

wonderful challenge of sharing Christ with

    each

    child

    who

    was w i l l i n g

    t o l i s t e n .

    Praises

    be t o

    God,

    h e attendance

    improved

    each

    day

    a n d

    s o

    did

    the challenge. Chil

dren, the world over, want t o be

    loved,

needed, appreciated a n d cared for. Oh,

    how l e a r l y

    our wonderful Lord drove this

    poi n t home

    during

    the

    week.

    We con

    our

    prayer

    t h a t God w i l l continue t o n ur

    can be

    l e f t to

    starve

    s p i r i t u a l l y a n d become

    B e r l i n ' s

    biggest

    gangsters. What re

    you

    o i n g to

    help

    n ur

ture children in the r i

    g h t

    way? Are you

    setting

    a h r i s t - l i k e example

    for them? Do

    you accept

    the challenge of

    teaching them

    in

    the

    way of the Lord?

    Do you pray for

them daily to be nurtured in God s love?

    Do you see t he point I m m a k i n g ? I t re

    quires each of us

    working

    together, n our

    own mall or large ways,

    o

    t r a i n them

    up

in the Lord. God can a n d

    w i l l

    do great

    things
