Planting Brother Watchman Nee (1930-1949) 1930 The Lords recovery was first brought to the Philippines among the Chinese population in Manila. A small group began meeting outside of the denominations, initiating the Lords recovery in the Philippines. 1937 Brother Nee visited this small gathering in Manila, bringing the saints into the one flow of fellowship in the Body of Christ. 5. Planting Brother Watchman Nee (1930-1949) 1942 In the southern region, a small group of brothers, translated Watchman Nees, writings into Cebuano dialect. As a result, a denominational group of nearly 50 turned to the Lords way of recovery by taking the ground for a testimony in the city of Aloran. Aloran 1949 Watchman Nee sent Witness Lee to Taipei where he met two overseas Chinese from the church in Manila who later urged him to visit Manila. 6. Watering Brother Witness Lee (1950-1960) 1950 Brother Lee arrived in Manila to shepherd the church into the practical coordination and service. He visited the Philippines for 3-4 months every year until 1960. 7. 1953 A special fellowship conference was held in the Church in Manila attended by saints from several countries in Southeast Asia. The Training Center building is fully occupied and the present facilities are heavily used. We anticipate more young people to join the training in the coming years due to the prevailing work in the campuses . Thus the construction of Phase 4 of the present training center began. 20.
