Other resultsIntroduction etc.
• 2 of 3 were formally introduced.
• 48 % has had a ”medarbetarsamtal”
• 83 % knows how to contact Doktorandombudsmannen – decreasing number!
Reports on harassments:
• 24 individuals has reported harassments.
• 14 individuals (11 women) report harassment with regard to gender
Health problems:
• 61 % feel stress every week
• 50 % have difficulties concentrating
• 46 % have pain in neck/shoulders
To be improved…Comments from respondents on:
• Supervision
• Courses: number and quality
• Research environment: scientific discussion, infrastructure
• Psychosocial environment
• Salary, working conditions
• Information, introduction
• Career planning
• Communication language
To sum up•PhD:s in general are satisfied.
•PhD:s are more satisfied 2011 than 2006 (same as 2009)
•Men are more satisfied that women.
•Foreign PhD:s are more satisfied than Swedish PhD:s.
•No major differences between faculties.
•They are satisfied with supervision, less satisfied with number of courses (own subjet)
•There are reports on harassments.
•Many PhD:s feel stress.
