The innovative design of the Phasec2200 puts a high technology EddyCurrent instrument inside an ultralight,splashproof case that has theruggedness to perform reliably in theharshest environments.
It has the benefit of a largeElectroluminescent display to reduceeyestrain, comprehensive batterymanagement, extensive context-sensitive help screens and advanceduser functions.
The Phasec 2200 includes all thefunctions needed to enable you toachieve accurate, reliable andrepeatable test results. It minimisesoperator fatigue by being both thelightest available unit of its kind, andby automating many repetitiveoperations.

The dual channel, dual frequency,Phasec 2200 offers a full range ofcapabilities for the NDT operator:

Aerospace Applications
CorrosionThe low frequency performance of thePhasec 2200 in both single and dualfrequency mode makes it ideal for sub-surface inspection in thick multi-layerstructures such as aircraft skins. Forpositional scanning the Phasec 2200 can usethe AndScan scanning system. (seeAccessories and Enhancements).
Fastener Hole InspectionThe inspection of fastener holes in aircraftand other structures benefits greatly fromthe Phasec’s use of versatile filters, advanceddisplay software and low noise. The result isan excellent signal to noise ratio allowingvery small flaws to be detected. Acomplementary range of probe drives isavailable. These range from the ultralightMiniDrive for tight access areas, to the fullyindexing incrementing drive, providing for awide choice of dynamic inspections.
FastScanThe FastScan system has beendesigned specifically for detection ofsurface and sub-surface crackingunder installed fasteners. Using dualfrequency techniques the operator canget can get an indication of depth ofabout 10mm. This system can inspectunder ferrous or non-ferrous fastenersand can can identify top-surfacecracking under the fastener head.
ConductivityWith the appropriate probe, thePhasec 2200 measures the conductivityof non-ferrous metals over the fullrange of 1% to 110% IACS or 0.4-64MS/m. A readout of coating thicknessto 1.25mm is also displayed.
Other Applications
Surface CrackingThe Phasec 2200 gives high sensitivitysurface inspection using all standardabsolute and differential probes. Thebuilt in balance loads and wide probematching ensure compatibility withother manufacturers application -specific probes.
Weld InspectionIn conjunction with the HockingWeldScan range of probes, the Phasec2200 offers an advanced system forchecking the integrity of welds onsteel structures, such as bridges, ships,oil rigs and steel framed buildings. It isdesigned t be insensitive to lift-off, andcan be used on structures with anti-corrosion coatings.
Tube Inspection (Non ferrous)With ID probes the Phasec 2200 canperform a range of tube inspectiontasks.
