MARCIE MILLARD (Ms. Walker) is very excited to be back with her Aurora Theatre family! You may remember her from Camelot (Guinevere) and two runs of Les Misérables (Madame Thenardier). She was last seen on The Atlanta Lyric Stage as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast and other favorite Atlanta credits include Shrek (Alliance Theatre), The Full Monty (Atlanta Lyric Theatre), Forbidden Broadway (Georgia Ensemble Theatre), and The Santaland Diaries

(Horizon Theatre). Next up for Marcie are Sense and Sensibility at Synchronicity Theatre and A Christmas Carol at The Alliance Theatre. Marcie actually hates scary stories so hugs and candy are welcome after the show.

TIMOTHY WHITSON (Emile) is happy to be back in Atlanta after spending a year abroad directing and maintaining The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe aboard a ship! Ever since finishing his ap-prenticeship with Aurora he has always been excited for the chance to come back. You may have seen him onstage at Aurora in The Explorers Club (Luigi), the Center for Puppetry Arts in Peter Pan (Peter), or at Stone Mountain in multiple roles. You can see him at

Stone Mountain this upcoming Christmas in A Christmas Carol and here at Aurora on The Lawrenceville Ghost Tours this October.

YUKA SEKINE (Brooke Rodgers) is originally from Japan, and a re-cent graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in BFA Music Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include: Giant (Juana), The Boys from Syracuse (Luciana), and The Crucible (Betty). She is extremely excited to be a part of AppCo18! Yuka likes to thank her unconditionally supportive family, friends and faculty of IWU, and Aurora.

BRANDEN CLEVELAND (Zeke Matthews) is honored and excited to be a member of Aurora AppCo18. Branden is from Long Island, NY. He is a graduate of SUNY Albany with a master’s in Communications and a minor in Theatre. During his time at the University at Albany, performances included Words (Teacher), Cruel Intentions (Russell Knight), The Carrion (Dr. Ambrose), Spring Awakening (Hanschen Rilow), Eurydice (Big Stone), 308-B (Neil). Branden’s directing credits

include Legally Blonde and an original piece I’m Not Happy Anymore as part of UAlbany’s Student Playwright Festival.

MEG HARKINS (Tina Powell) recently graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies and a B.S. in Journalism. While at KSU, she appeared in several productions including Peter and the Starcatcher (Bill Slank), Spring Awakening (Anna), and The Scarlet Letter (Hester Prynne) as well as being a member of the student improv troupe. She appeared in The Threepenny Opera (Betty) at 7 Stages and is thrilled to be making her

Aurora Theatre debut as a member of the AppCo18.

R.L. STINE (Playwright) is one of the best-selling children's authors in history. In July 1992, Scholastic introduced his Goosebumps book series with Welcome to Dead House. DANNY ABOSCH (Composer/Lyricist) is a composer/lyricist whose musicals include Goosebumps The Musical (World Premiere at First Stage and Oregon Children’s Theatre), Fancy Nancy The Musical (Off-Broadway 2012-2014, National Tour 2013-2015, Cast Recording available on Ghostlight Records), Placebo (winner of the 2012 PMTP Development Award, fully produced workshop at the Pasadena Playhouse directed by Ryan Scott Oliver, additional workshops at the University of

RUSSELL E. ALEXANDER II (Brian Colson) is an actor, singer, & director from Selma, AL, and thrilled to be a member of Aurora Theatre's AppCo18. He recently graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BA in Theatre Performance. While at UAB, Russell performed in productions including Bat Boy: The Musical (Bat Boy), Avenue Q (Nicky), & Stupid F***ing Bird (Con), for which he received the national award for “Best Actor in a

Mainstage” from the Kennedy Center. Russell’s professional credits include, The Wiz (Scarecrow) at Birmingham’s Red Mountain Theatre, A Chorus Line (Richie) at Ohio’s Huron Playhouse, & Occupants (La Chi Chi) at the Kennedy Center’s 2016 National Playwright’s Workshop.

CHLOE KAY (Brooke Rodgers u/s) is so honored and excited to be a member of AppCo18. Most recently Chloe was in the ensemble of Aurora Theatre and Theatrical Outfit's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She also recently understudied for the Alliance Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol. Chloe is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, where notable credits include The Three Musketeers, She Kills Monsters, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer

Night’s Dream, and Two Gentlemen of Verona. She can’t wait to continue to work for the Aurora throughout the year and sends all her love to her family in California, and friends near and far.

Aurora Theatre Learning Library presents GOOSEBUMPS™: PHANTOM OF THE AUDITORIUM - THE MUSICALMichigan, Oklahoma City University, Emerson College, and Pace University), Off The Wall (First Prize winner of NMI’s 2014 Search for New Musicals, 2015 work-shop and concert in Los Angeles), and Miles & Me (2014 workshop at the Musical Theatre Factory in NYC). Danny is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.M. in Music Education), and of NYU’s M.F.A. Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Danny studied musical theatre writing as one of twelve participants in the Johnny Mercer Songwriter’s Project at Northwestern University, where he worked close-ly with Broadway composers Lin-Manuel Miranda and Craig Carnelia. Three of Danny’s songs have been chosen by William Finn for his concert series “Songs By Ridiculously Talented Composers and Lyricists You Probably Don’t Know, But Should”. Danny was a founding member of the Musical Theatre Factory where he also served as its first Managing Director and co-created the acclaimed New Orchestrations series. Danny’s music has been featured on the TV shows “Dance Moms” and “Last Call With Carson Daly” as well as in the films “Waiting in the Wings” and “Missed Connections”. JOHN MACLAY (Playwright) is a playwright who specializes in adaptation for Theatre for Young Audiences. His plays and musicals include Goosebumps: Phantom of the Auditorium (with Danny Abosch), Geronimo Stilton: Mouse In Space, Just A Little Critter Musical (with Brett Ryback), Nancy Drew And Her Biggest Case Ever (with Jeff Frank), Anatole (with Lee Becker and James Valcq) and a new version of Robin Hood (with Joe Foust).Additionally, Mr. Maclay proudly serves as Associate Artistic Director and Director of the Young Company at First Stage in Milwaukee Wisconsin, one of the America’s largest and most respected theatres for young audiences. Mr. Maclay has been working with First Stage in one form or other since 2000 and has directed or ap-peared in more than 25 First Stage productions (from classics to world premieres) as well as having produced more than 50 productions for the First Stage high school programs.Mr. Maclay’s work as an actor or director has also been seen at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, Defiant Theatre, Bunny Gumbo, Bialystock and Bloom, Skylight Opera Theatre and more. When not doing that all of that, he is busy teaching theatre at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.

JACLYN HOFMANN (Director of Education/Director) is thrilled to enter her 7th Season as Director of Education at Aurora Theatre! She is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgia Gwinnett College and a proud co-founder of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project. Representative Directing Credits include: I and You and "Master Harold" ...And the Boys (Aurora), Equivocation (Shakespeare Tavern), Homers (Georgia Ensemble Theatre), StinkyKids the Musical (Aurora and Synchronicity), Late: A Cowboy Song (Weird Sisters Theatre Project), Unnecessary Monsters (Aurora, Suzi Bass TYA Winner 2013), and Letters to Sala (Stage Door Players & Company J). As an actor some favorite credits include: Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare Tavern), The 12 Dates of Christmas (Aurora), 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche and Anton in Show Business (Weird Sisters). Always thankful to Anthony, Ann-Carol, and the awesome Aurora Staff. Love to Nick, Oliver, and the fam!

ANN-CAROL PENCE (Associate Producer/Co-Founder/ Music Director) arranged the music for Aurora’s first Christmas Canteen in 1996 and was hired full-time in September of 1998 as Resident Musical Director. An education major at James Madison University, she used her background to develop Learning Library (or

L2). As a musician, she created Aurora’s Musicals by Moonlight, and Aurora’s New Musical Initiative. She has performed as pianist and/or music director both nationally (Goodspeed Opera House, Pasadena Playhouse, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Kennedy Center) and locally (The Alliance, Theatrical Outfit, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, The Horizon). As a proud citizen of Gwinnett, Ann-Carol is most proud of Aurora Theatre winning the first ever Pinnacle Award for Large Non-Profit. This goes well with her 4 Suzi Awards for Outstanding Music Direction for Mary Poppins and Les Misérables, Aurora’s world premiere of Clyde ’n Bonnie: A Folktale, and A Catered Affair and her multiple nominations for In the Heights, Memphis, A Year with Frog & Toad, Annie Get Your Gun, Godspell, Singin’ in the Rain and A Chorus Line. She was a proud participant in the 2016 Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute and member of the “Best Class Ever!”

JEN MACQUEEN (Choreographer) has choreographed Off -Broadway produc-tions of Cannibal: The Musical, A Birthday Surprise, Mag Mor, and The Broadway Dance Outlet, and national tours of Red Hot and Cole and Promises, Promises. Her regional credits include Mary Poppins, Kiss Me Kate, Barnum, Dante’s Inferno (cyr portions), A Chorus Line, Singin’ in the Rain, Sweet Charity, Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Smokey Joe’s Café, Cabaret, Annie Get Your Gun, Illyria, Fiddler On the Roof, Chicago, A Year With Frog & Toad, The It Girl, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Anything Goes, Guys & Dolls, The World Goes ‘Round, Pippin, and many others. For the past 20 years, Jen has taught workshops and set works all over the United States. She won the Suzi Bass Award for her choreography in Aurora Theatre’s Mary Poppins, three Woodie Awards, and 11 Spotlight Awards for her work in NewYork. Jen is proud to be a professor of dance at KSU, and also currently runs Akrosphere Aerial and Circus Arts, www.akrosphere.com.

CANDY MCLELLAN (Assistant Choreographer) is a graduate of the University of West Georgia (BA Theatre) and a recent alumnus of Aurora's AppCo17. Most recent credits include: Christmas Canteen 2016, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Sweep and The Bridges of Madison County (understudy), at Aurora Theatre, and In The Heights and The Hunhback of Notre Dame, with Aurora and Theatreical Outfit. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support but especially her parents and number one fans, Sheila and Nathaniel.

CAROLINE GRACE CALDWELL (Stage Manager) is a graduate of The University of Georgia and a proud Aurora AppCo Alumni! Previous Aurora credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, In The Heights, Grace for President, Women In Jeopardy!, Christmas Canteen 2016, The Mountaintop, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Bridges of Madison County, and Split In Three. She is very grateful to her Aurora family for keeping her around in the 2017-18 season, to her parents and sis-ters for their constant support, to her roommates for having the coffee ready in the mornings and the wine ready at night, and to her friends for their constant supply of laughter and hugs.

ISABEL AND MORIAH CURLEY-CLAY'S** (Scenic & Costume Design) work can be seen on stages around Atlanta as well as on several regional stages. the recipients of seven Suzi Bass Awards, Resident Scenic Designers at Horizon Theatre, Artistic Associates at Theatrical Outfit, and members of IATSE, United Scenic Artists 829.

THOM JENKINS (Sound Design) is a composer, musician, sound designer, and educator based in Atlanta. He is delighted to be back working with his friends at Aurora on Goosebumps. His recent work includes: The Waffle Palace, Third Country, The Book Club Play, Time Stands Still, Sheddin’, Black Pearl Sings, Shakin’ the Mess Outta Misery, and Tree at Horizon Theatre; Wit, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Lombardi, All Childish Things, Peter Pan & Wendy, Betrayal and Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde at Aurora Theatre; Don Quixote at The Center for Puppetry Arts; Frankenstein at Theater Emory; A Confederacy of Dunces at Theatrical Outfit; and Six Degrees of Separation at Actor’s Express.

BEN RAWSON (Lighting Designer) is an Atlanta based Lighting Designer whose design work has been seen with theatre and dance companies in Metro Atlanta such as The Aurora Theatre, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, 7 Stages, Synchronicity Theatre, Weird Sisters Theatre Project, Fabrefaction Theatre, Emily Cargill and Dancers, Zoetic Dance, and Proia Dance Project. CODY RUSSELL (Properties Designer) is a graduate of the 2017 Aurora Apprentice Company and is ecstatic to be back working at his home away from home. A recent transplant to Atlanta he has been very fortunate to have worked on a number of productions at Aurora Theatre. He is currently designing and scenic painting for The Weird Sisters' Space Girl, and designing properties for Synchronicity Theatre's productions of Sense & Sensibility and Heidi. When not backstage designing props you may see him on stage acting and singing his heart out.

VALERIE MEDOFF (Assistant Stage Manager) is Aurora Theatre’s 2017-18 Stage Management Apprentice. She recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in Theatre and Communication. Valerie’s favorite credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2nd ASM), Spark (SM), The Waiting Room (SM), Having Our Say: The Delaney Sisters’ First 100 Years (ASM), and The Music Man (ASM).
