ANALYSIS• The government of Gujarat has spent around Rs

40 crore for tourism promotion campaign ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ featuring legendary star Amitabh Bachchan.

• Congress MLA Babubhai Shah, the Tourism minister said that while Shri Bachchan didn’t take a single pie to do the campaign, a Mumbai based company that produced the advertisement has been paid.

• Shri Vyas in his answer said that the government of Gujarat spent Rs 97 lakh to provide various facilities to film star Shri Amitabh Bachchan during his Gujarat visits. The minister added that services of firms like rising son film India private limited, O&M, Mansi movies.

PROMOTION OF CAMPAIGN
