o A senior engineer in GE Oil & Gas Fleet Management group who provided utmost and excellent support to

methodically resolved all encountered problems quickly and satisfactorily and strived to deliver products to
customers in timely manner.
o A software developer who performed various roles in the software life cycle including in SW design / SW
development / maintenance, SW verification / validation, Quality Assurance for numerous software
applications and projects in Gas & Pipeline, NASA, and DOD entities.
o A tester with years of experience in software verification/validation arena using various testing techniques
such as performance, black box, white box to ensure products were implemented per specified
requirements.
o Performed QA/QC role to ensure delivered products were in compliance with institution and governmental
rule and regulation and assurance processes to attain the expected quality with proper documentations.
o A safety advocator for NASA Mission Control Center System (MCCS)’s hardware and software system

GE Oil & Gas Subsea Systems & Drilling September 2011 to Present
A Senior Professional Band (SPB) engineer in Product Service / Fleet management group who has continuously
and exceptionally served the customers by diligently performed and led engineers to study, resolve, and provide
quick and reliable resolution to the customers’ reported issues, especially the rig down or near rig down. Few task
examples are:
Developed the comprehensive Work Instruction document for the Product Service team with detailed
process flowcharts and emphasis on understanding of customer needs and expectations and also considering
safety when resolving issues. This approach would help producing reliable resolutions to the reported issues.

The Work Instruction was approved and signed off by Drilling Services director, Engineering director,
Drilling Quality leader, Global Field Service leader, and Product Service managers.
Led/participated in many FMEA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions to identify all possible failures in a design,
a manufacturing or assembly process and obtained Corrective Actions and Prevention Actions for the raised issues to
address and/or eliminate current and possible future issues. Examples are: the FMEA on 720VAC BOP power supply
from Surface through copper communication to 120VDC/80VDC Subsea power supply; RCA on vendor and in house
printed circuit board manufacturing and classification process.
Led several key Principle/Senior SW/HW engineers in many occasions to develop solutions to avert many near or rig
down situations to allow customers back to drilling contracts. An example is with Transocean customer GEN 1
system. Through technical data analysis, convinced customer to accept the presented risks and proposed reducing
numbers of Emergency Disconnect Sequences that could accommodate current GEN 1 HW capabilities.
Mentored several junior engineers, Field Service engineers on rigs, Special Operation team, and SW developers on
BOP Control System on SW design approach and structure, troubleshooting and error elimination techniques.
Reviewed and improved technical and quality conditions of Technical Communication and other technical documents
prior to release.
Member of cyber security product leader to improve security awareness and provided security feedbacks to GE
products for all Tollgates milestones.
Continuously informed and alerted management with 4-Blocker tool to raise several issues that would
require management intervention for speedy result and to serve our customers better. Few examples are
the obsolescence and qualification of Data Logger, TeamViewer to improve remote service network (RSN) tool.
SoHar Corp. / GHG Corp Houston, TX – Sr. Software/System Engineer August 2005 to Nov. 2010
Led a Software/Hardware Assurance team of four engineers to perform engineering analysis for MCCS utilizing approved
commercial software tools and techniques to promote MCCS system safety and also efficiently documented and
communicated safety issues to project management throughout all MCCS software milestones.
o Provided safety inputs to the MCCS hazard reports through the analysis of the MCCS requirements, architecture,
and designs per NASA safety standards. Documented potential MCCS system hazards, hazard control methods,
and ensured that the identified hazard controls are effectively implemented and verified throughout all phases of
MCCS software lifecycle. The MCCS Phase I Hazard Reports were successfully presented and accepted by the
Constellation Safety Review Panel.
o Reviewed all MCCS’ subsystems related technical documents and plans throughout all MCCS milestone to
identify and document all possible safety concerns on the identified safety critical requirements, design, coding,
and testing phases and also tracking the acceptable safety resolutions until closure. The coding programming
languages for MCCS’ subsystems are mostly written in C/C++ and Java.
Developed methodology for handling software risk via Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) technique. PRA is a
comprehensive, structured, and logical analysis method that aims at identifying and assessing risks in complex
technological systems for cost-effectively improving their safety and performance.
o Studied all defined hardware’s basic events using Sapphire tool for the Lunar Sorties mission’s activities to
identify software components that are associated with the hardware, controls, or effectors that would contribute to
an unsuccessful mission event or failure.
o Proposed a software PRA approach by creating a software PRA model using historical data in the International
Space Station (ISS), Shuttle, and Satellite programs’ databases that have similar software failure occurrences.
USA / BestStaff, Houston, TX - Software Engineer Consultant March 2001 to Jan. 2005 Performed system engineering analysis to formulate display requirements and developed automated test scripts to verify and
validate the performance of requirements’ functions for the Shuttle Cockpit Avionics Upgrade (CAU) Project. The CAU
project was to provide better situational awareness and improve flight safety for the astronauts.
Developed Ground Avionics Displays requirements and inspected codes for Electrical Power System (EPS).
Developed test scenarios and automated test scripts to verify the Shuttle Main Propulsion Systems (MPS) and
Ascent/Entry Primary Flight Dynamics (PFD) display requirements in the Software Production Facility (SPF).
Boeing / Cimarron. Houston, TX - Software Engineer Consultant May 2000 to May 2001 Provided automated test scripts written in C Language to verify and validate the Node Control System (NCS) requirements for
the International Space Station (ISS) flight software through Formal Qualification Testing (FQT) documentation and process.
NCS software was a portion of ISS that controlled the equipment located in the United States On-orbit Segment portion of the
Space Station prior to the arrival of the new Command and Control computer.

Performed verification of NCS requirements by analyzing and developing/modifying automated test scripts to verify
the performance of NCS requirements through 1553 Bus environment using sophisticated simulation software tools
and PASS-1000 1553 Bus Analyzer.
Provided formal validation and certification of NCS requirement through well defined documentation and process.
El Paso Energy / Proview, Houston, TX - Software Consultant. August 1998 to April 2000 Maintained and enhanced the El Paso Energy’s Gas Transportation Business (GTB) software applications that creating
contracts to provide natural gas transporting services through El Paso Energy’s pipeline system around the United States. The
programming languages for most software applications were written in C/C++ and databases’ SQL.
Led a successful Y2K project that implemented, verified, validated, and delivered the Y2K compliance for all
Validation Server’s Gas Transportation Business software.
Coordinated, evaluated and analyzed software discrepancy reports on GTB’s Validation Server software and
implemented approved software correction/enhancement. Verified the performance of software upgrade on several
test environments to ensure proper software quality and control before it is migrated to the production environment.
Developed several ad-hoc tools as needed to improve daily production support and diagnoses of customer’s reported
problems.
Lockheed Martin - USAF Project. Houston, TX Nov. 1996 to August 1998 Provided software system design and supports to the Range Standardization and Automation (RSA) project. The RSA project
improved the reliability and reducing the operations and maintenance costs of the Air Force Space Command's Space Lift
Ranges by consolidating and centralizing controls of the Eastern and Western Ranges facilities. The programming languages in
these projects were written mostly in C and X/Motif Window.
Designed and developed the infrastructure software for RSA project by tailoring and adding new UNIX TCP/IP and
socket network programming capabilities that provided selected RSA site real time workstations readiness using the
existing JSC NASA Mission Control Center (MCC) infrastructure software.
Performed Unix administrator and Oracle database administration (DBA) functions for the Air Force Space
Command's Space Lift Ranges program with credential through a professionally DBA trained by Oracle. Developed
shell and SQL scripts utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Server Manager, and Oracle SQL Plus in
conjunction with UNIX system administration skills to effectively support the database management functions.
Unisys - USA, Houston, Texas June 1991 to Nov. 1996 Performed software design/development and maintenance tasks for four projects that supported various Shuttle’s activities and
payloads. The programming languages in these projects were written mostly in C and X/Motif Window.
Designed, developed, upgraded, and maintained several science computational programs for the Tether Satellite
System (TSS). Also developed the Satellite Commands/Data Editor application that provided the error-free capability
with extensive built-in data validation and notification when the TSS coefficient data is modified in a restricted access
area. These applications were used during the two Shuttle’s TSS payload flights that allowed users to perform various
science experiments to prove the theory of moving a metal conductor through the earth magnetic field would produce
tangible electricity.
Developed and maintained numerous GUI analysis applications for Shuttle Propulsive and Environment Control
Systems such as:
o The Propellant Usage and Mass Analysis (PUMA) application which performed the Shuttle vehicle mass
determination based on the sequential timeline inputs and users’ specifications of the detailed Orbiter
Maneuver System/Reaction Control System propellant budgeting and analysis.
o The Propulsion Early Assessment application which performed the preliminary propellant usage assessment
of PUMA process.
o The Environment Control Systems application which performed an extensive calculations of water, air, and
electrical usage for each shuttle flight.
Designed and developed the GUI Universal Planning System Automation (UPSA) application that provided satellite
commanders the capabilities of interactively or automatically accessing, modifying, and validating the Tracking and
Data Relay of Satellite (TDRS) Scheduling activities. UPSA application also provided reliable data transmission
between different hardware configurations at JSC, Texas and Goddard, Maryland facilities for all Space Shuttle flights.
The UPSA application was delivered to users on schedule and on budget.

Upgraded and maintained numerous Data Processing System (DPS) applications such as: The Onboard Fault Summary
application which tracked, searched, and displayed the real-time scrollable fault message lists of the Orbiter and
Spacelab faults messages; The Scratch Pad Emulator application which enabled users to keep track of the Shuttle’s
crew scratch pad line entries and keystrokes.
General Dynamics - Fort Worth, Texas January 1986 to January 1991
Designed, developed, and maintained the F16 C/D jet fighter real-time Weapons Control System avionics software
written in JOVIAL that provided monitoring, conditioning, and controlling of the fighter weaponry inventory system
every 20 milliseconds. Responsible areas included Air-to-Air weapons: AIM-9 Sidewinder, AMRAAM, and Air-to-
Ground weapons: AGM-88 HARM/AGM-45 SHRIKE.
Participated in developing numerous F16 Avionics Familiarization Trainer (AFT) system-level hardware designs.
Defined and instituted training procedures for different domestic and foreign customers according to their AFT
specifications. Troubleshooting various F16 C/D AFT and kept them in very high degree of readiness.

Obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and fulfilled all required courses in Electrical
Engineering at Mississippi State University since 1986.
