Aerospace – North West Aerospace Alliance
To design and deliver an 18 month programme in support of an initiative by
N.W.A.A. to create a ‘cluster’ or Extended Enterprise, comprising of smaller
supply chain members who, when they combine, can bid for larger pieces of
work. During the Research phase, we undertook interviews with the Prime
customer such as Airbus, Rolls Royce, Bombardier and BAE Systems to
understand their supply chain requirements. We used this information to run
workshops with the N.W.A.A. supply chain members to develop their
Commercial Approach, a collaborative agreement and Memorandum of
Understanding, a selection assessment tool for potential supply chain members
to form the Extended Enterprise, a Value Stream map of key component
manufacturers and a Financial paper, describing potential funding sources and
options. We facilitated the forming of the first Extended Enterprise and
commercial meetings with a prospective client
Design Council Appointed as their strategic partner to work on the Designing Demand
programme, aimed at implementing actions from the Cox report into maximising
Design Management in UK SME’s.
Responsible for analysis of existing programmes and developing supporting
activities and deliverables for Recruitment of Design Associates across the nine
Regional Development Agencies, Induction and coaching programmes for
Design Associates, stimulating the Network design community through events
and conferences and personal Development of Associates, through CPD

Facilitating team challenges through the mobilisation programme for Area 13

Highways Agency ( Public sector)
Acting a Senior CAT practitioner for the Highways Agency evaluation of their
supply chain. Managing a team of three other Practitioners to evaluate
organisations against an EFQM based ‘enablers’ model, looking at Leadership
and direction, Strategy, People, Processes, Internal resources and Partnering.
Evaluations were undertaken across organisations including offices, sites and
supply chain organisations.
Manufacturing – Epwin Group
Commissioned by the Chairman to review two business units, manufacturing
and sales and marketing and the potential to improve their integration and
performance.
Led a twelve day evaluation by a team of three consultants to consider
leadership at all levels, processes and bottlenecks, culture and behaviour
across the operating businesses and how collaborative working could improve
morale and performance.
Construction Designed and developed a number of Conferences events ranged from 20 –
100 people, for a variety of clients ranging from strategic objectives to team
working activities both indoor and outdoor.
Highways road project : to integrate the three partners including the client, in
order to improve behaviour and reach commonality in approach and purpose
Construction organisation: To drive our operational improvements leading to
key actions and changes to the future strategy
Design company: Strategic review to identify people and task barriers to
success and develop a future plan.
