Cost Justification R.O.I

New applications are primarily justified on a “Return On Your Initial

Investment” (ROI). The Pet Cremation System (PCS) saves time, money,

reduces errors and helps make your organization operate with greater

control and efficiency every day over a period of years. Over the past 10

years BIS has been able to analyze the business growth of our existing

customers. Below we provide a few examples on how the PCS application

provides you with a great ROI for your business!

Business Growth (Vet Clinics)

Our analysis has determined that on average a new vet clinic in

most markets within the United States generates on average

$2000 in revenue per month. (We understand that this varies

depending on the market; our existing customers in various

geographic markets have provided this information to BIS.)

We have seen some of our PCS customers double and even triple the

number of vet clinics they service in just the first two

years. Therefore, even if the Enterprise package ($35,000) was

being considered the system would pay for itself within the first

year and a half with only one new vet clinic! ($2000avg x 12

months = $48,000 in revenues - subtract your expected costs of

servicing this business)

Inventory Control

One of the most common costs that businesses incur is to have an

improper balance of their inventory - having inventory on-hand

that is not selling and being out of stock on items that are hot

sellers. In some cases this inventory is taken at a complete loss

because your vendor has superseded the item with a newer

product. With proper inventory control you can manage your

inventory cost more efficiently by knowing how much inventory

there is on-hand and having the capability to project your

inventory needs based on sales.

Decrease Labor Cost

There are many areas where employee hours are drastically

reduced and in some cases can be eliminated completely. Based

on our observation these areas can be clearly identified:

The drivers will be able to make more stops in one day

since the mobile devices provide a quicker pickup

turnaround time as each pet tag is merely scanned. At the

very least this will allow the drivers to improve customer

satisfaction by allowing them to have more time to

speak with the vet technician during their stops. An

estimated 20% of additional revenue is lost because of a

poor customer service experience.

Pickups and Gas cost can be reduced for the vet clinics

that don’t require a pickup because the system provides

the capability of knowing if there are any pet orders ready

to be picked up. It has been estimated that at least 5 trips

per month are done where there are no pets ready to be

picked up.

Certificates are typically manually created that take at

least a few hours throughout the week to be completed.

On average most cremation businesses spend about 4

hours per week, or 16 hours per month doing the

certificates. Since the system automatically prints these

certificates and labels, this saves you an additional 2 days

of labor costs per month.

Simplifying Services for

Veterinary Clinics

Proper Medical Waste Disposal

BIS is excited to introduce its newest feature to

the Pet Cremation System (PCS) for our customers that service Medical Waste.

We now have the capability to track Medical Waste throughout the entire process

from the time the waste is picked up at the Veterinary Clinic until it is processed

at the treatment facility.

Regardless whether you processes the Medical Waste or have the waste

processed by an outside treatment facility, we also have a process that will auto-

email the manifest to the Veterinary Clinic with electronic signatures, which in

most cases is mandatory by the state, so that they can provide the appropriate

oversight agency with the proper documentation.

This new process is seamlessly integrated into our existing PCS application using

the mobile devices and will help you to reduce labor costs, significantly reduce

paperwork, minimize steps to provide Veterinary Clinics with a State

Manifest, and will assure everyone in the process that this is properly

documented. We can even track the container boxes by utilizing our integrated

bar-coding system.

The Medical Waste Process is simple as 1, 2, 3 steps:

1) Medical Waste

Containers: By utilizing

mobile devices the

containers are bar-

coded and scanned during

a driver's visit.

2) Treatment Facility:The

containers are then

scanned at your facility for

processing, which captures

a date & time stamp and

ready for pickup by the

treatment facility.

3) Auto E-mail: When the

Medical Waste has been

processed and a Manifest

Number is assigned, an

email is automatically sent

to the Veterinary Clinic

providing proof of Medical

Waste processing.

This provides our customers with a more reliable and automated solution for

tracking Medical Waste. By reducing paperwork and with the email signatures

your business is providing cutting edge technology to your Veterinary

Clinics that offer proper proof of disposal for their use. This will reduce the risk

of losing any customers to your competitors, while at the same time simplifying

their process.

Select Orders by a

DATE RANGE

The majority of our PCS customers bill

customers based on a specific Date Range.

This module allows the user to select a

date rang to match their billing cycle.

Selecting Customers to Bill

Based on the orders that were entered in the system (via: Vet Clinic Web Entry, Driver

Mobile Device, or Back office manual entry) and fall within the specified Date Range, this

screen provides the user the flexibility of choosing which orders or customers are ready to

be billed.

Notice there are two sections: LEFT portion of screen #1 = Displays the Vet Clinics

RIGHT portion of screen #2 = Displays all the individual orders that are ready to be

billed

Consolidating Orders (Billing Statements)

The system will now automatically

consolidate all the orders that have been

checked for billing and will separate them

in two categories 1) Vet Clinic Billing &

2) Pet Owner Billing

QB Export Completion (Billing Statement)

The system will now automatically

consolidate all orders that have been

marked for billing and group them

together for Vet Clinic billing within your

Quick Books! Now the only step that your

accounting team has to do is to review the

invoices for proper billing.

Instead of including the shipping charges within the Special Service

section, the Vet Clinic can now choose these shipping items under the

Delivery Options field.

Delivery Options Maintenance

The cost of the Delivery Options can now be managend within its own

maintenance module. There is also the capability to default / "Flag"

one of the shipping costs.

Call-In Entry Screen

The Call In Entry screen will also display the cost of the shipping items

in a new column.

standard for the Cremation

Industry and in that process

Clinic Website has become a

big part of that goal. Thanks

to our PCS customers and the

significant growth the website

has allowed them to

experience, it seems that we

are heading in that right

direction.

The BIS Accounting module has been one of the major deciding factor for our existing

customers to upgrade from their existing PCS package. (We offer the Standard, Professional,

and Enterprise packages) This module provides a unique capability to analyze data

more efficiently and customize reports in ways that other Accounting software systems do not

provide.

There comes a time when your business outgrows a "canned" systems, such as QuickBooks

and PeachTree, and the product is no longer adequate to run your business. As your business

grows and its business processes have evolved and changed, so should your technology and

software. This allows for an efficient and streamlined operation where technology and your

business processes go hand in hand. The BIS Accounting module provides the capability

to analyze data from multiple locations and companies, so there is an endless amount of data

that it can handle. In addition, for businesses that are growing and need more flexibility then

their standard accounting software provides, our team of Accounting Specialists can provide an

increased level of support and one-on-one consulting services that other providers do not offer.

These modules provide a completely integrated Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable

(A/P), General Ledger (G/L), Multi Company Financial Statements and Sales Analysis

environment that is customizable to meet your specific needs. Invoices are automatically posted

to the A/R module and, of course, payments are recorded via the Cash Receipts program.

General Ledger posting are automatically generated from all of these accounting modules and

periods can remain open as long as you wish. Financial Statement are flexible to set up and a

number of subsidiary statements can easily be added.

BIS’ 10 year history in developing industry specific software for the Pet After Care Industry, has

allowed us to become a market leader while continuing to innovate and improve the application

to better serve the industry. There is valuable information that we can provide over other

software providers that is specific to the Pet After Care industry. One of these examples is the

PCS billing module that allows for you to choose the orders that should be billed by selecting a

drivers route and the orders that the system has identified as having already been picked up

and scanned by the drivers mobile device. However, this can also be modified to your specific

needs! By adding business logic to the program we can reduce processes to better match your

operations.

In the screen shots below we will demonstrate how easy it is to use our Master Billing module,

which allows for you to have flexibility as to how you bill your customers.

MASTER BILLING; ROUTE SELECTION

Based on the orders that have been entered in the system via any method provided in

the system - Vet Clinic Website, Drivers mobile handheld device, or manual entry of

these orders through the Back Office, they will all appear on this screen.

By selecting the Route Code / Pickup Date these orders are flagged for billing; on a

subsequent screen you can review the details of each order.

NOTE: The check box filters on the top of the screen are filters that provide the

flexibility to choose which orders should appear on this screen. We have found that

many customers vary on when an order should be billed. Of course, you can change the

business logic as needed.

MASTER BILLING: CUSTOMER / ORDER SELECTION

The orders that were selected in the previous Master Billing screen can now be

reviewed in detail. Based on all the routes that were selected you can now

review each customer within those routes and each individual order and even

verify prices that were charged for each order.

In most cases you will simply "Select All" the orders but in some cases, an

order needs to be removed, so it can be unchecked and will remain in the

queue for the next billing cycle. An order is never lost, because it appears over

and over again until billed.

POINT OF SALE (POS): ORDER CHANGES

There is also the flaxability of being able to choose an individual order by simply double clicking that order, which will automatically send you to BIS' Point of Sale (POS) module. Within the POS module last minute changes can be made before all the orders are finalized to create a statement.

BIS provides a variety of samples of customer statements but often we

customize these for each customer so you can keep your desired look and feel.

There is also the ability of adding your customer logo in a high quality resolution

to provide a personalized professional touch to your statements.
