Capitol Canine Club
Capitol Canine Club allows dogs to play cage-free with other dogs while also practicing some basic training and manners. Here dogs can go outside,they have provided maximum limit to run, interact with other dogs while being followed by trained staff.
Our Club offers to doggies:
➢ Environment: We provide a worry-free environment for your pet to socialize with other animals that are as healthy and well-loved as your own.
➢ Expertise:Staff members of Capitol Canine Club have been thoroughly trained and evaluated by C&C PALS president Carole Peeler, CPDT, CDBC, CNWI, who has more than eighteen years of experience in dog training and canine behavior consultation.
➢ Evaluations:All day care pets must have a completed application, pass an evaluation, and have proof of current vaccinations. Dogs exhibiting aggression toward people or dogs, showing signs of guarding resources, or high levels of anxiety are not appropriate candidates for day care.
➢ Playtime:Dogs are grouped depending on their temperament, play style, and energy level.
➢ Puppy Daycare: Our younger members play in a safe, clean, and secure environment with fellow puppies and other playmates of appropriate temperament under the close supervision of our experience staff. Puppies receive frequent potty breaks and well-deserved nap times.
➢ Senior Day Care: Older dogs can enjoy daycare too. Many senior dogs need extra potty breaks during the day and find the presence of a human comforting. Your senior dog can spend the day getting some exercise and stimulation, while being pampered and petted, without having to participate in the more active day care groups.
Policies
➢ No dog with a contagious illness will be accepted for day care until cleared by a veterinarian.
➢ All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations and test: Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Lepto, Bordetella, and CIV, and have a negative fecal test.
➢ Females in season and intact adult males may not participate in day care.
➢ Dogs that have not attended Capitol Canine Club for more than 6 months will need to be re-evaluated before returning.
Drop-off/pick-up
➢ Doggie day care is open Monday thru Friday, except on major holidays.
➢ Drop-off is 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Pick-up is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
➢ Pets not picked up by 7:00 pm will be boarded at regular boarding fees. Please call to make arrangements if your pet is going to be spending the night.
