The Rodrigo Training XCH is an essential tool for any serious show jumper. designed by Nelson Pessoa as a useful basic everyday jumping saddle for a rider wanting to be as close as possible and therefore more effective. This saddle is nearest to the original Pessoa designs, having minimal bulk under the leg, allowing the rider more freedom. Ideally suited to a horse with good muscle coverage across its back.

A forward cut panel and flap offer a rider with a long hip to knee measurement adequate room to balance and perform in the saddle. This saddle is suited to a male rider or a rider with longer legs. The Pessoa Training Aid is considered by many to be an essential tool for every horseman. Working in harmony with the horse, it persuades and suggests, helping the horse to find optimum balance and rhythm.

The Pessoa Training Aid promotes the development of back muscles in horses and for that reason we would encourage you to start work with the Pessoa Training Aid when the horse is young.

The training aid should be introduced to a horse GRADUALLY, starting with walk, then trot and finally canter.

Use REGULARLY for SHORT periods of time.
