Footpath closure October 2016 Perth Transport Futures Project Phase 1 - A9/A85 Junction Improvement and Link Road to Bertha Park PUBLIC NOTICE Balfour Beatty has recently commenced construction of the A9/A85 Junction Improvement and link road to Bertha Park. This project includes construction of a new A9 junction with slip roads, a new link road to Bertha Park and a new junction on the A85. In order to install ducts and divert utilities across the carriageway of the A85 and the existing northbound exit slip from the A9 it is necessary to close this slip road and erect traffic lights on the A85. Due to the volume of traffic that uses these roads during the day it has been agreed to carry out the works overnight to reduce the congestion. The works are schedules to start on Sunday 11 December for 2 nights. The slip road will be closed from 7pm to 7am on both The diversion route is to continue northwards on the A9 to Inveralmond Roundabout, Take the 4 th exit which takes you back onto the A9 southbound and then take the first slip road on your left which will bring you back onto the A85 at the East side of Tesco.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Balfour Beatty has recently commenced construction of the A9/A85 Junction Improvement and link road to Bertha Park. This project includes construction of a new A9 junction with slip roads, a new link road to Bertha Park and a new junction on the A85.

In order to install ducts and divert utilities across the carriageway of the A85 and the existing northbound exit slip from the A9 it is necessary to close this slip road and erect traffic lights on the A85.

Due to the volume of traffic that uses these roads during the day it has been agreed to carry out the works overnight to reduce the congestion. The works are schedules to start on Sunday 11 December for 2 nights. The slip road will be closed from 7pm to 7am on both nights. The diversion route while this closure is in place is shown on the map opposite.

Perth and Kinross Council and Balfour Beatty apologise for the inconvenience caused while these works are carried out.
