What is the “Union”:
The union is a social space for all students to meet, hang out and have fun.
Union staff support and provide space for student clubs and societies.
Offers and organises a wide range of social activities on a regular basis.
Works in partnership with the students Offers opportunities for volunteering and wider engagement.

Student Representatives Are elected in class by fellow students. Listen to the views of class members. Represent the views of the class at Student
Representative Council and Course Committee meetings. Given training. 5 Student Conveners are elected each year (April
Elections) they are part –time employees and work in partnership
with the Student Union and College.
