Preparation - Course program;- Educommunity presentation and course staff presentation;- Slides of the proposed Personalization model and guidelines, developed in LEADLAB project (LeadingElderly and Adult Development - LAB)Ref.#: 502057-LLP-1-2009-1-IT-GRUNDTVIG-GMP, in LifelongLearning Grundtvig Programme.The focus is on Learning Personalization Trainer (LPT) and on an integrated European model ofpersonalization and self-learning, based on the andragogic paradigm, to promote adult and elderly peopleparticipation to lifelong learning.
Objectives Course aims to spread and improve personalization culture, to show a model of intervention shared atEuropean level and to introduce the guidelines to design and produce learning personalized experiencesforadults and elderly people.
Methodology The participants will use a direct and active approach and will be involved in collaborative peer to peerlearning sessions and self-evaluation activities. The narrative and biographical approach will be adopted,asfirst step to enhance personalized experiences, to make visible tacit competences of learningpersonalizationand to develop a major awareness. Learning personalization strategies will be used on team working.
Personalized approach will be the method and the course content. An opening remark of the working daybefore will be the open of each day.
Follow-up The participant will be support to interact on a web space dedicated to the course and on a webcommunityof practice where they will able to continue to discuss and to share possible application experiences ofwhatthey have learn during the course also with european experts and trainers.
PROGRAMME OF THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES (DAY BY DAY)
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING:
1: Introduction (9-10.30). Debate about different personalization meanings that will be noted in a poster (10.30-13)Break(13-14). Self evaluation activity comparing participant personal trainer profile with Learning Personalization Trainercompetence map, developed in the LEADLAB project (14-16). Workshop (16-18). 2: Self-evaluation outcome of the daybefore will be analysed and commented in order to highlight potential personalization components already present inexperienced training practices (09-10). A table will be used to summarize the key elements (11-13). Break (13-14).Trainers will describe LEADLAB personalization model and guidelines (14-15.30). Participants will be invited tohighlight common elements and differences between the model and their practices, drawing up a poster (15.30-17.30).Discussion to consolidate the personalization concept and the participants awareness of their personalizationcompetences(17.30-18). 3: Trainers will suggest to the participants a team project work: to design a personalized plan foradult and elderly people with the focus on adult learning features and on the personalization strategies (9-12). Break(12-13).Workshop of the work done (13-15). Debate to find possible application levels of personalized approach in trainingcontexts in Adult Education system and in training courses (15-18). 4: The obtained result will be presented andremarkedin a workshop session comparing it with the personalization model and guidelines (9-13). Break (13-14). The commentsand remarks will be shared in the open threads of the LEADLAB web community of personalization experts andprofessionals (14-17). 5: The last day is dedicated to retrace all the process, reflect on the work done, identify and sharethekey elements of a personalized course (9-13). Break (13-14). Finally participants will be invited to find weakness andstreghtness of the approach and how to use it (14-18).
