Extroversion

• Stereotypically thought of as “enjoying ego boosters” and “loud mouthed and talkative”

• Also thought of as the “teacher’s favorite”

Introversion

• “a person who is energized by being alone and whose energy is drained by being around other people.”

• Stereotypically thought of shy • However can have an inner strength of

character that extroverts do not have

Applying these methods to today

• Relation between Language and Society

• Identifying cognitive states cross-culturally in an insecure setting

• Imperative that teachers know the background and personality of students
