Personality can be defined as a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by a person that uniquely influences his or her cognitions motivations and behaviours in various situations.

The word

Factors important for the developments of ones personality -

Page 11: Personality development

It is an intellectual process where an individual organizes and interprets his sensory impressions to give meaning to the environment.

A perceptive person is informed, appraised, aware, sharp and observant.

perception is

the process of

attaining awaren

ess

or understanding

of sensory

information

Perception

Page 12: Personality development

Rationality creates the capacity for objective intelligent action and an awareness which helps in maximizing the value of situations

Rational person will convert weakness into strengths

Rational person will convert defeat into victory

1. the state of

being logical

2. utilization of

reason or logic

3. a reasonable

or logical opinion

For example:

buying things

Rationality

Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to

perceive, control, and evaluate emotions.

Emotional

intelligence (EI)

is the ability,

capacity, skill or,

in the case of the

trait EI model, a

self-perceived

ability to identify,

assess, and

control the

emotions of

oneself, of others,

and of groups

Emotional intelligence (EI)

Page 15: Personality development
Page 16: Personality development

Empathy - identify with another's feelings. It is to emotionally put yourself in the place of another.

Empathy is directly proportional on our own feelings.

If you have never felt a certain feeling, it will be hard for you to understand how another person is feeling. This holds equally true for pleasure and pain.

If, for example,

you have never

put your hand in

a flame, you will

not know the

pain of fire. If

you have not

experienced

sexual passion,

you will not

understand its

power.

Empathy

Page 17: Personality development

The definition of EI and their detailed chart of its many aspects does not mention empathy -- something which is a bit puzzling. Upon reflection though, it does seem possible that one could feel too much empathy, to the point where they become overly-affected by another person's moods, for example, in an unhealthy co-dependent relationship.

Therefore, it seems to make sense that while our innate emotional sensitivity gives us the ability to feel empathy, our emotional intelligence helps us decide what to do when we feel empathy and what to do when someone else's moods are affecting us too much.

Empathy is something we could use more of in society – Barrack Obama

Emotional Intellegence VS Empathy

Page 18: Personality development

Quite good in indentifying and accessing situations

Bad over empathy sensations I think it is because of my Tit for Tat behaviorI'm working hardly to get rid of my weakness

and to have some EI.

Casual Management: Describes the procrastinators of the world. You are the one who thinks it will get done when you have time.

Casual managers can lose track of time, and are easily distracted by issues that take less energy than the task at hand

The best time

management

tools for casual

managers are

timelines and an

alert system

Develop the qualities to be a Time Manager

Page 30: Personality development

Time plays a vital role in time management

If I go and works for a service industry with my present time management skill then it leads to adverse effect to my promotions

Due to lack in knowledge about time management I'm unable to schedule my regular activities it affects my PUNCTUALITY hardly.

I have to chart my regular activities perfectly in order to fill the gaps

Thus time was

effectively

managed and

once all the

mentioned things

are done im a

ready to work as

a professional in

Leadership can be defined as one's ability to get others to willingly follow.

Every organization needs leaders at every level.

Vision

Integrity

Dedication

Magnanimity

Humility

Openness

Creativity

Fairness

Assertiveness

Sense of humour

Leadership

Page 32: Personality development

Leadership can be developedNo, I'm unable to be leader

because I'm not having the ability to get others to follow willingly.

So, if they do the work incase of enforcement then it leads to a failure.

Team work always wants co operation mainly b/w the leader and the sub ordinates.

Can I become a

leader?????

LeaderShip Develop???

Page 33: Personality development

During the class activities in our group I really think SARAVANA as a leader.

Because he is having the tendency to organize and execute things in right place and in right time

He can be developed by improving his quality by improving the ability to get others to follow willingly

Reasons to adopt

him as a

leader????

Who can be a Leader???

Ulterior Transactions Occur when the words seem to be coming

from one ego state, but in reality the words or behaviors are coming from anotherSometimes when people don’t know what they

want or how to ask for it in a direct way, they resort to ulterior transactions

Best to avoid ulterior transactions because they tend to waste time
