Synopsis
Part - 1
Personality can be defined as a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by a person that uniquely influences his or her cognitions motivations and behaviours in various situations.
The word
"personality"
originates from
the Latin
persona, which
means mask.
Cognitions -
Perception,
reasoning, or
knowledge.
Personality
.Personality type refers to the
psychological classification of different types of individuals.
Personality types are sometimes distinguished from personality traits, with the latter embodying a smaller grouping of behavioural tendencies
Extraverts

16 Personality Types
Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats
SWOT analysis is
a strategic
planning method
used to evaluate
the
SWOT
Strengths: Communication, Self Confidence, Financial background, No bad habits
Weakness: Overconfidence, Seriousness, Tit for tat, General Knowledge
Opportunities: Various opportunities from service industry and IT fields
Threats: Overconfidence, Playful behavior
All those things
mentioned are
true and meant
after my own
personal
analysis.
SWOT Analysis
Perception, Learning and knowledge, Rationality, Altitude, Empathy, Persistence, Motivation,Confidence and Commitment
Factors important for the developments of ones personality -
It is an intellectual process where an individual organizes and interprets his sensory impressions to give meaning to the environment.
A perceptive person is informed, appraised, aware, sharp and observant.
perception is
the process of
attaining awaren
ess
or understanding
of sensory
information
Perception
Rationality creates the capacity for objective intelligent action and an awareness which helps in maximizing the value of situations
Rational person will convert weakness into strengths
Rational person will convert defeat into victory
1. the state of
being logical
2. utilization of
reason or logic
3. a reasonable
or logical opinion
For example:
buying things
Rationality
Russell's Account of Rationality
Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to
perceive, control, and evaluate emotions.
Emotional
intelligence (EI)
is the ability,
capacity, skill or,
in the case of the
trait EI model, a
self-perceived
ability to identify,
assess, and
control the
emotions of
oneself, of others,
and of groups
Emotional intelligence (EI)
Empathy - identify with another's feelings. It is to emotionally put yourself in the place of another.
Empathy is directly proportional on our own feelings.
If you have never felt a certain feeling, it will be hard for you to understand how another person is feeling. This holds equally true for pleasure and pain.
If, for example,
you have never
put your hand in
a flame, you will
not know the
pain of fire. If
you have not
experienced
sexual passion,
you will not
understand its
power.
Empathy
The definition of EI and their detailed chart of its many aspects does not mention empathy -- something which is a bit puzzling. Upon reflection though, it does seem possible that one could feel too much empathy, to the point where they become overly-affected by another person's moods, for example, in an unhealthy co-dependent relationship.
Therefore, it seems to make sense that while our innate emotional sensitivity gives us the ability to feel empathy, our emotional intelligence helps us decide what to do when we feel empathy and what to do when someone else's moods are affecting us too much.
Empathy is something we could use more of in society – Barrack Obama
Emotional Intellegence VS Empathy
Quite good in indentifying and accessing situations
Bad over empathy sensations I think it is because of my Tit for Tat behaviorI'm working hardly to get rid of my weakness
and to have some EI.
Me vs EI

Time Management
Planning, Allocating, Setting goals Delegation Analysis of time spentMonitoring Organizing Scheduling and prioritizing.
Time
management
refers to a range
of skills, tools,
and techniques
used to manage
time when
accomplishing
specific tasks,
projects and
goals
Time management
Time is limitedTime is scarce. You need time to get what you
want out of life.. You can accomplish more with
less effort.. Too many choices
Y it is
essential???
Time Management
More effort but less productivityAchieving the goals must be
delayed or blockedMore stressLeads us to failureDegradation
If time is not
managed it leads
to
Time Management
While I was studying in 12th std, im not so aware of time management
I was much struggle d when I was preparing for exams
During exams I missed out many answers due to lack of time
Time Barriers
Write things downPrioritize your listPlan your weekLearn to say noThink before actingContinuously improve yourselfIdentify bad habitsDon’t do other people’s work Keep a goal journalDon’t be a perfectionist
Time Manager
At first I will put a perfect schedule to study the things which are to be learnt
Then I will keep the remaining time for revising
I will keep sometime for doing regular activities/entertainment
Even at exams I will put a small schedule in order to attend all the questions
If an another chance to me . . . . .
Achievement ManagementCasual ManagementCrisis ManagementPrecision ManagementSocial Management
Time Management Style
Casual Management: Describes the procrastinators of the world. You are the one who thinks it will get done when you have time.
Casual managers can lose track of time, and are easily distracted by issues that take less energy than the task at hand
The best time
management
tools for casual
managers are
timelines and an
alert system
Time Management Style
Setting Time dependent goalsSchedule properlyIdentify my bad habitsAvoid leisure timingsGap for regular activitiesNO to other ppl’s jobsPut on a diary to regulateAlert system to enhance
Develop the qualities to be a Time Manager
Time plays a vital role in time management
If I go and works for a service industry with my present time management skill then it leads to adverse effect to my promotions
Due to lack in knowledge about time management I'm unable to schedule my regular activities it affects my PUNCTUALITY hardly.
I have to chart my regular activities perfectly in order to fill the gaps
Thus time was
effectively
managed and
once all the
mentioned things
are done im a
ready to work as
a professional in
a SERVICE
INDUSTRY
Professional in Service Industry
Leadership can be defined as one's ability to get others to willingly follow.
Every organization needs leaders at every level.
Vision
Integrity
Dedication
Magnanimity
Humility
Openness
Creativity
Fairness
Assertiveness
Sense of humour
Leadership
Leadership can be developedNo, I'm unable to be leader
because I'm not having the ability to get others to follow willingly.
So, if they do the work incase of enforcement then it leads to a failure.
Team work always wants co operation mainly b/w the leader and the sub ordinates.
Can I become a
leader?????
LeaderShip Develop???
During the class activities in our group I really think SARAVANA as a leader.
Because he is having the tendency to organize and execute things in right place and in right time
He can be developed by improving his quality by improving the ability to get others to follow willingly
Reasons to adopt
him as a
leader????
Who can be a Leader???
Transactional Analysis (TA) Method for determining how people interactWhen we interact, behavior can be:
passiveaggressiveassertive
Performance is greater with this behavior
TA is a method of understanding behavior in interpersonal dynamics
TA: Types of Transactions Within ego states there are three different
types of transactions:Complementary TransactionsCrossed TransactionsUlterior Transactions

Ulterior Transactions Occur when the words seem to be coming
from one ego state, but in reality the words or behaviors are coming from anotherSometimes when people don’t know what they
want or how to ask for it in a direct way, they resort to ulterior transactions
Best to avoid ulterior transactions because they tend to waste time

TA: Ego States Major ego states that affect our behavior or
the way we transact through communication:Parent Ego State (P)
Critical parentNurturing parent
Child Ego State (C)Natural childAdapted child
Adult Ego State (A)
Parent Ego State
A state in which people behave, feel and think positive to an unconscious mimicking of how their parents acted, on how they interpreted their parents actions.
Example :- A person may shout at someone out of frustration because they learned from an influential figure in childhood the lesson that this seemed to do way of relating that worked.
Adult Ego StateThe adult ego state is about direct responses to the here &
now . we deal with things that are going on today in ways that are not unhealthily influenced by our past . while a person is in the adult ego state , he /she is directed towards an objective appraisal of reality.
example :- 1) son tell two his daddy (I wish I had amazing super powers)
2) son tell two his daddy (if u work & study real hard for years & years , you could develop the powers you already have)
Child Ego State The child ego state is a set of behaviors , thoughts are
feelings which are replayed from our own childhood.
Example :- A person who receives a poor evaluation a work may respond by looking at the floor , & crying pouting , as they used to when scolded as a child. conversely , a person who receives a good evaluation may respond with a broad smile & a joyful gesture thanks . the children is the source of emotions , creation recreation , spontaneity & intimacy.
My Ego TestI have undergone my ego test, the result I got was a bit
child ego.It is true, I'm bit seriousness and playful.I am putting some efforts to maintain all the ego states
under a normal value
Person who knows about himself/herself very well than others
He / She is willing to share ideas, thought and desire to other people
It increases communication to others thus it leads to an opportunity of getting many ideas as whole from other people
Sharing without shynessRemoves lack of confidenceVery clear to others
Open Self Person

This skill set is essential to become an effective communicator and develop your interpersonal experiences into valuable relationships.
Most people associate personality as part of the skill set to create many valuable relationships.
f you ask most people "Which one of your friends is the most effective interpersonal relationship builder?" Most immediately point to their acquaintance with the most social personality.

Interpersonal Skills + Values = Interpersonal Relationships
