Portrait of an Angel is a website dedicated to helping those who feel guilt and suffering from the death of a favorite pet to finally move on. The website showcases several pets, and it serves as an obituary of sorts, in order to mark the honor of these beloved animals' memories.

◦Mission StatementI'm on a one-woman campaign to stomp out guilt, the kind of guilt that clings like a leech to the coattails of our grief. It pains me to see good, loving people feeling guilty about uncontrollable circumstances surrounding the loss of their pet. Granted, there are circumstances where heinous acts deserve the roughest of guilt trips but for most people this isn't the case.

I do not want you guys putting your name on something like this that does

not show who you really are, that does not show what you are really

about, and that does not show what you are really capable of doing!
