Front cover• I found that most magazines use the same

conventions to help them stand out, for example they all used big, bold mast heads which took up a lot of the page and was bigger than all the other fonts. It is important for the mast head to stand out agaisnt the rest as this is what the magazine is identified by. The mast head must also fit in with the genre of the music, for example, one of the magazines I looked at, Kerrang, used a grungey, They also all stuck to a simple colour scheme with 3 or 4 colours
