Copy of your original request sent to Technical Support: Date of request:12/30/2015 Case #: TS02953059 Subject: Question about the product Web of Science

Description: Dear Editor,

I have question on Web of Science (WoS):

1. What is the difference between Institute for Scientific Information (ISI)Web of Knowledge and Thomson ReutersWoS? When (wit h exact date if possible) Thomson Reuters took over this website from ISI?

2. Up to date, how many journal titles are listed in WoS and Web of Science Core Collection. Try to find the figure in your website but in vain.

3. In Journal Citation Report (JCR) Edition 2014, only journals listed in Science Citation Index Expended (SCIE) and Social Science Citation Ind ex (SSCI) have impact factor (IF), right? Journal listed in Arts &Humanities still do not have IF, right? Need clarification regarding this matter.

4. Can i have the list of databases indexed in WoS and Web of Science Core Collection please?

Regards,

Mohammad Hafiz Bin Hamzah, M. Sc. UM Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia
